Major Update #4: Chapter 1: Release!

Hey all,

After lots of planning, testing, and thought I am finally announcing the release of V0.5.0.11!!

Simply put, the Chapter 1 update encompasses the actual storyline, core game mechanics, daily challenges, and slightly more instructive gameplay.

That is not to say that gameplay balance, moves, and art are finished for Chapter 1. Over time, there will be more events, minibosses, characters, and, of course, updates to the art. What will be different, however, is that I will plan much smaller updates so that you all can get them faster, and the fantastic testers will have a lot less to test xD

Valuable lesson learned. More content = Exponential testing and planning.

Below is a list of stuff that was added. I may have missed a thing or two...

Story

  • There is now a story line to follow and currently ends around Day 64 (right before the Chapter 1 Boss which will be implemented next chapter).

  • The Therapist (Belle) has been pushed back to Chapter 2 but even when players reach the end of content, they are able to perform Claire's class change (~Day 66).

Actions

Moves

  • Wet - Was given an animation

  • Handy (New)

  • Lick (New)

Skills

  • Snacks! (Unlockable skill. Hint in the game)

  • Observe (Mutation)

  • Forget (Mutation)

  • Squat (Mutation)

  • Focus (Mutation)

  • Sandwich (mutation)

Clinic Stage

  • Smegma for the dirtiest patients (might wait till after the update to make a toggle for this)

  • Patient Passives - Unlocks on Day 29. Some patients may bring their baggage to their appointments.

  • First mini-boss - Just one for now to reduce the scope of this update and get this in front of you guys.

Story

  • 80+ New dialogue. This is more of a conservative estimate but I am estimating we will be in the 95~100 ballpark once chapter 1 story is finished.

  • Interactive dialogue options that offer bonuses

  • Scripted Tutorials to help players learn about core mechanics

Updated Sounds

All NSFW animations had their sounds updated and revamped! (~22 animations)

Portraits

  • Sarah (new expressions)

  • Kate (Revamp of portraits and more expressions)

  • Beth (new)

  • Lots of NPCs portraits/Clothes

Gameplay mechanics/scaling

Some hidden mechanics were added that will make the gameplay more challenging over time...

Notes

Npcs walking around town have been pushed back so that we do not delay this update any further. Even if they were implemented, they wouldn't add much to the game so it was decided that they be pushed back to a future update.

I think this is about everything but I'm 100% sure I missed a few items. For now, please try out the latest update. As always I'll take the next few days to look out for any bug reports. Also, I will do some planning and post the scope of the next update!!! But this time, I'll plan much better xD I promise guys.

Finally, on the chance that you see a minor bug, please don't worry xD I promise it can be patched up quickly. Might be that I left something uncommented in the code while testing.
