🏴☠️ Here There Be Pirates 🏴☠️
As Celina’s Calling has grown, I’ve run into a challenge I didn’t fully anticipate: piracy. Maybe that’s on me, given the space I’m working in (an adult game, promoted in places like F95Zone), but it’s still frustrating to see.
The biggest incentive I offer for supporters is early access to new game builds, and when subscriber-only builds get shared ahead of time, it makes it harder to continue growing. Over the past couple weeks I’ve noticed a bit of stagnation, and this is my main guess as to why. Unfortunately, the F95 mods don’t seem too interested in helping creators like me combat this issue.
So I have a request: if you’re subscribing and receiving the subscriber-only builds, please keep them for yourself and avoid sharing them online. It goes a long way toward helping me keep this project sustainable.
I also want to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported and stuck with me these first few months. You are the reason I’m able to keep working on this, and I want to continue finding ways to provide value and give back to you as much as I can.
Finally, I want to stress that I’m not deterred by these challenges. I’m moving forward, learning as I go, and determined to keep improving both the game and the experience for supporters. If anyone has ideas on how I can get Celina’s Calling in front of more people—or on how I can make subscribing more worthwhile—I’d love to hear them.
Thanks again for everything. I truly mean it.

I found the game through another site. While having a tiny bit out there can be promotional. People out there pirating the game should cease. Most apps like Patreon forbid people doing it.
Hey morrak bro please consider to apply in game- cellina who is leaving with that little kid who looks like he needs some help like momma's milk 🤭 because he didn't get. So it will be more interesting if you add some breastfeeding content (lactation) and yah it need impregnation for that. And we know how many times she gets sperm into her so it is obvious that she is now pregnant. Please bring lactation in game please 🥺
So, roundaboutly, I was a pirate. Even got 2.2 pirated. But the game quality and communication made me want to support. Can't wait for more.
DJ - Thanks for supporting! Piracy is just part of this industry and all I can do really is to ask people not to, put out the best game I can, and hope people support still.
I think when you make quality content, communicate and deliver constantly people will want to support that, I for one discovered you in pirate site and decided to try to support you, sadly I don't think I would discover you other way, perhaps cross promotions with other creators might help, sure you will get pirated but it wont outweight the supporters, i've supported some creators that I would straight up pirate instead given the chance, because they started with something really great and then just stopped halfway making updates about nothing or excuses but still taking money, or they just became arrogant towards people questioning them after x months of no content or updates. I think the important thing is to understand you are not selling finished product, but relying that people will help you to create that product by funds, which is why you must stay working and communicating, then you are golden.
Hey, Morrak, I totally get your frustration. Having said that, I wouldn't have known about your game without F95Zone. For the most part, the site is fairly respectful of release schedules, although you may encounter some mods who are less helpful. I saw your discourse with someone who released it early on the site, and I must say you both handled it respectfully. The site does have some bad actors, like everywhere, but for the most part, you'll find it as a potential source of backers for your project. It's much like constructive criticism; you might find some people there, such as modders, other developers, and players, who may offer some insights that you might find helpful. On the other hand, you'll encounter trolls that can deflate your drive for productivity. Hopefully, it all works out for you. As for different ways to gain exposure, because it's an adult game, the options are limited: game websites (such as itch.io) that host adult games, or setting up your own website and advertising it on adult webpages are really the only viable options. Some other studios also go the Steam route, but that's iffy at the moment with the payment processors getting upset about adult content.
i think also people will move away as the story develops away from what they are interested in. i have done some studies and surveys on this specifically related to horror games and nsfw games. Most of my findings seem to suggest the same things most players of these games prefer the early game build up, outfit changes random events and strangers the more faceless aspects of the game like for example bar maid and house maid scenes and teasing scenes with a slow corruption/ acception mechanic being involved and slowly more revealing and daring outfits seem to get the high attendance of viewers and players. likewise in horror movies the slow burner hidden killer not revealed and the horror scenes slowly getting worse and survivors slowly becoming more dcesperate is often the greatest part.
A trend I have noticed on F95 as a user there and here, is that devs who actively engage with members in the thread for their game, usually generate a level of respect amongst members who will then abide by correct release dates. Those devs who build a resentment there will only suffer more at the hands of the piracy crew. When dealing with a quality output like yours, many members are happy to show some respect to the dev, and those same members often become very supportive subscribers. Just an option for how to deal with your situation. Communication, in the right vein, can be very helpful to your base.
Morrak, every author probably goes through this experience, even just on Facebook. I'm sorry that it happened to you, it's annoying, depressing and it takes away the joy and enthusiasm for work... But take it as a test, a challenge.. not only for yourself, but also for all of us here who stand behind you! ... and we won't let you fall!! And believe that everything bad will bring something good... and as they say, even bad publicity is publicity. And I'm sure that in the end many of those who got to know your game thanks to pirated copies will appreciate its great graphics and quality and expand our ranks here.
I think if the quality is there people will actively support. Just look at Badik or desert stalker for example, the update gets released instantly on f95 but those games still have a huge backing
Your doing great. I agree with sky daddy there are a lot of milkers out there and people need to stop supporting them. You are offering quality updates on a timely basis. Rare with AVN'S these days.
Did you call for pirates? 😂
People who are open to support will do it for quality work. People who weren't going to support anyways are going to turn to piracy. As someone who is a regular on F95, I would not have found out about your game otherwise. There seems to be a trend of devs who start strong with lots of potential slowly fall to the darkside of milking their "supporter base". More devs than I have fingers and toes have done this over my several years on F95. Now add the influx of devs using AI tools to generate AI slop content, this issue of crappy/scammy devs just multiplies. Your game is hands down the best use of AI use plus sticking to a consistent schedule with communication. I've seen way too many situations of devs having longer update times until its like 6 to 12 months between updates, when the update drops its actually slop/low effort when considered against the 6-12+ month timelapse. Then these same devs have the audacity to be upset their supporter numbers tank. I say all this to say, given the work thus far you've got a lot of potential with building a supporter base. I really hope you continue down this path for a while and don't turn to the darkside that so many devs in this scene go down, 6-12+ month update times and wonder why they can't foster supporters.
Sky Daddy (lol) - Thanks for your feedback and I agree. I've had that same experience with games that end up in "development hell" taking months and months to come out with updates with little to no content. This certainly isn't the path I want and if I ever ceased development of a game or wasn't planning on future games, I will let my community know. That being said, I still am aiming to have Celina's Calling done roughly by December of this year (though I may take some time to polish it before calling it 100% complete and moving onto Celina's Calling 2 which I already have plans for).
