I had seen the deadzone movie on early YouTube, but most of the Garlic Junior saga wasn't uploaded then, so I've never seen it all the way through.

I am one of those hapless souls who somehow fondly remembers the Garlic Junior saga from those Toonami days, so I was legit looking forward to it and was surprised to see it get Space Orphaned. Wasn't disappointed by the fakeout at all though! Loved the direction you guys took it even more than what the expected path would have become. Still one of my faves today!

I keep wondering how exactly a life insurance payout would work if someone died and came back to life through supernatural means. I mean technically you did die. Taking out the fake twin brother thing, would that actually work?

I figured it was a joke opening because during the opening when the big hits before the end were on Maron's boobs so I figured it was more of a joke. And then the Walking Zed edit confirmed it for me

As someone who never properly saw DBZ in it's entirety I thought this episode was meant as a palette cleanser.

I honestly forgot about the garlic jr arc until I saw this episode and was excited to see if what you guys did would be more memorable and must say yeah o do remember this way better than the original

I was tricked. I remember discussing with friends if it was gonna be 2 or 3 episodes. I'm surprised there was no mention of how Popo's "assimilation" was a return from the old Youmacon 2010 promo.

Back when it first came out I figured you were going to do an episode, maybe two. I had faith in your ability to make it entertaining. I didn't expect you to throw the entire thing in the bin and make a Krillin romcom, that was a curve ball.

lmao not only did i think you were gonna do this arc for real, I was so excited for it, because i remembered my dumb middle schooler brain LOVING the garlic jr. saga. id watch it over and over again renting it from my local hollywood video, and i was looking forward to you tearing into it. Still of course loved what you did anyway 😂

I wouldn't say tricked, when it came to the garlic jr. arc, cause I enjoy pretty much every episode. and Kai 2.9 was very good as well.

I think my thoughts during the premier of this episode back then were simply OH BOY NEW DBZA !!!!

Honestly guys, I thought you were gonna do it when I first saw it, but laughed my ass off when I found out you just flat-out Popo'd Garlic Jr. xD
