The Office - Season 4 Bloopers Reaction

when does “you’re evil like a hobbit” show up?

I swear to God I've seen way more takes of the TV scene during the dinner party episode. Maybe ripped from the DVD release? Idk. But I have a core memory of Steve Carell going, "If it's crowded and you need extra space? Boom!" and pushing the TV in and John Krasinski just DYING, saying, "Extra space?! It only moved like 2 inches!!"

apparently they didnt improvise as much as people tend to think! just good scripts

Thanks so much, I love these! I knew that the computers were functional, but looked up the details. Here's the info for you: • Real Internet & Email: Unlike most television sets where computer monitors are empty shells or display static images, the production team wired every desk with a working computer, internet access, and active email. • Cast Activity Between Takes: While background or wide shots were rolling, the actors actually used the computers to pass the time. • In-Character Communication: Cast members like Angela Kinsey (Angela) and Brian Baumgartner (Kevin) routinely emailed each other in-character during scenes. • Personal Tasks: Actress Phyllis Smith (Phyllis) reportedly paid bills and did online shopping, while Jenna Fischer (Pam) sometimes answered fan mail. Brian Baumgartner and others even updated early social media profiles like MySpace for their characters.

Agree with the podcast comment! They’re labeled by episode so you can avoid spoilers but they talk about how they’d play solitaire on the computers before they got internet installed lol

when’s the next youtube office vid coming? 👀

If you are into podcasts, Bryce, I recommend listening to Office Ladies with Jenna and Angela - it is SO SO SO good and insightful and they have so many guests on incl. John Krasinski and Steve Carell.
