V3.2.0 – Painted Outfits + Bonus "Settle Down There" Gameplay

Hey all!

Painted Outfits are here — plus a bonus "Settle Down There" interaction!

Bare Bare Painted Outfits are fully functional. The paint wears off gradually as your Sim goes about their day, and since I built it to be treated as a pretended outfit, NPCs will react accordingly on how your Sim behaves and how much paint is left.

Every set supports both masculine and feminine frames properly. And yes, I literally hand-painted every one of them — digitally.

Here's how it works:

🪞 Put On Painted Outfits With Mirrors

These aren't CAS items — they're functional, so they can only be applied by interacting with a mirror. Click any mirror in the game and the Bare Bare Painted Outfit menu will appear, letting you apply, change, or refresh the paint.

🚿 Remove Painted Outfits

Two ways to remove:

• Take a shower (bathing won't work)

• Travel to another lot — the paint doesn't survive the loading screen

🎨 Outfit Options

I only picked up CC-making this month, so I'm starting with three sets, each with a few colour options:

• Biker Shorts — 4 colours

• Denim Boyfriend Shorts — 2 colours

• Taisou Fuku (Japanese school gym clothes) — 2 colours

These are built as face paint layers, so you can still wear any tops, bottoms, and accessories over them.

More sexy and exciting sets are already in the making!

⏳ Paint Comes Off Over Time

The paint gradually wears away, revealing your Sim's body bit by bit — until every part that was bare underneath is exposed again.

🍑 Naked Interactions

Since painted outfits aren't real clothing, every Bare Bare naked interaction is still available.

👀 NPC Reactions

This is where it gets fun. While "clothed" in paint, your Sim can walk around in public completely exposed and nobody bats an eye:

• Exhibitionists stop gaining Caught buffs

• Awkward Exhibitionists stop getting Humiliated

But there's a catch. If your male Sim gets an erection, the paint stops protecting him. NPCs will start reacting, and Awkward Exhibitionists will begin racking up Humiliated buffs again.

So: fresh paint + no erection = NPCs leave your Sim alone.

🍆 Bonus: "Settle Down There"

While your Sim has an erection, click on him and you'll find "Settle Down There" in the Bare Bare menu. He'll try to calm himself down — but there's a failure mechanic built in, so you may need to try again.

🚽 "Settle Down There" With Objects

Supported objects:

• Toilets

• Chairs paired with a table — check out the new "Secretly Wanking" interactions included with this set

• Picnic tables

Your Sim will hurry over to the nearest one, relieve the tension, and get back to their day in peace.

⚠️ CC Conflicts With Painted Outfits

Painted Outfits are functional, but they're still CAS CC — which means they can conflict with other CC.

The paints sit in the face paint category, so they'll replace any face paint your Sim is currently wearing.

Beyond that, different modders assign different layer priorities to their CC, so some items may render on top of the paint. I don't have control over this — my paint layer has to sit just above the general skin overlay layers, otherwise the paint ends up hidden behind the skin or floating above most accessories and outfits, which looks wrong.

In practice, this means some nipple overlay or pubic hair CC may appear on top of the paint, since many modders set those to very high priority. I've tested against most skin overlay and piercing CC, and the paint layers correctly with those.

🐛 Known Issue

Occasionally after loading a save, your Sim will show up in the wrong outfit — one that doesn't match what the UI says they're wearing. This can also cause previously applied paint to get stuck in that cached state.

Fix: Run Change Outfit and the outfit will sync correctly and paint will drop off.

I'm honestly not sure how this bug came to exist, and it's been bugging my gameplay with or without the painted gameplay.

🔴 A Few Pie Menu Changes To Take Note Of:

• The Bare Bare Exhibitionism menu for assigning traits now appears at the bottom of the list for Sims without any Bare Bare Exhibitionist traits.

• Slap Butt interactions no longer show up on non-exhibitionist Sims, which was causing the Bare Bare menu to appear where it shouldn't.

• Clear All Bare Bare Traits and Buffs is now only available on Sims that already have a Bare Bare Exhibitionist trait — again, to keep the menu off non-exhibitionists.

🔥 Time For The Prominence To Shine

It's time for The Prominence to get some attention. Coming updates will improve his Hellflame ability with better fire VFX placement to show off his body, plus the option to use the flame as a censor that snuffs itself out after a while.

The Prominence will also be getting a set of fire proof skin-tight outfits — so tight and body-fitting it's as if he's wearing nothing at all.

A batch of "fire style" interactions for flashing, posing and wanking are coming along in this set of updates too.

💪 Ultimate Bare Bare Poses Gameplay Makeover

My 3D animation and interaction tuning skills have come a long way, and the original Bare Bare poses are first in line for a major overhaul. Every current pose is getting upgraded, with plenty of new ones added, a complete gameplay UI makeover, and better transition looping between sets grouped by theme — think "Flexing," "Modeling," "Gooning," or "Strong Presence."

🪑 First Ever Bare Bare Custom Build Item With Interactions

I've finally learned how to make Build Mode CC. Combined with what I've learned about 3D animation and coding, this one won't just be an object — it'll ship with a set of Bare Bare interactions for your exhibitionist Sims.
