Elf Kingdom Devlog: Entering the Deep Forest & Introducing a New Druid! 🌿🏹
Hey everyone!
After working through several UI and system refactors, we’ve finally arrived at the Forest of Veridale!
A while back, when I first envisioned this area, I wanted to create a special side-quest line involving deep forest exploration. I’m finally implementing it now—and it will feature a brand-new character!
Meet Sylvia, a enigmatic redheaded druid. Creating her design took quite a bit of time (I spent almost the entire morning working on her model!), but the result turned out fantastic. I decided to make her a redhead since we didn't have a main character with this hair color yet. She will be your guide and companion as you explore the depths of the forest—a journey that is now a key requirement to complete the Veridale arc and progress in the main story!
⚔️ Quick Update on Combat Mechanics
I originally planned to showcase more features today—specifically a rework of the combat system. Right now, I feel the combat feels a bit unpolished, and creating a truly fun, dynamic combat system in Ren'Py is always a tough challenge.
I wasn't able to finish the combat overhaul today, but I’m exploring a few promising approaches and should have a dedicated update on that tomorrow!

Hi, just wanted to ask: If I decided to subscribe to your highest tier sub, will I get a gallery of the adult scenes? I cannot seem to load from my save and I have replayed the game over 3 times just to return to an error message (when I want to rewatch certain scenes). Honest to God, man: it is starting to piss me off! XD
Can you show me the error that appears on the screen? I do plan on adding a scene gallery; it’s a basic feature that I think every game should have, without any paywall. I haven’t implemented it yet simply because I haven’t looked into how to build one—I’m not entirely sure how to go about it—but I’ll address that in this update.
