🎃 A Different Project Idea...

Hello everyone!

Today I was actually going to post a regular update about the game, but I ended up watching some horror movies instead. Surprisingly, they helped me get a few good nights of sleep, hahaha.

Because of that, I ended up finishing all the animations, and I’m now at the final stage of bug testing before releasing the update.

While I was working on everything, I also started thinking about something else.

I noticed that there don’t seem to be many — if any — actual horror +18 games on F95Zone. That got me thinking about possibly trying to make one myself someday.

Recently, I’ve been spending some of the money from the subscriptions on mods and subscriptions to other creators so I can get access to different assets. Things like 3D houses, furniture, decorations, and other stuff that I could potentially use in future projects.

The problem is that there aren’t many creators making medieval assets. There are a lot more contemporary and modern ones.

And that got me thinking: why not make a horror game?

The basic idea would be a male protagonist who has just moved into a new house and is simply trying to live a normal life. But little by little, he starts realizing that something is very wrong with the house.

Yesterday night, I actually started creating the female character who would be the ghost the player has to deal with.

I’ve already made a few versions of her, but honestly, I still think she looks a little too... friendly to be genuinely scary, hahaha.

If I ever make this project, I want the horror to actually feel like horror — proper jump scares, unsettling environments, creepy locations, music, atmosphere, and moments that are actually meant to make the player uncomfortable.

For now, though, this is literally just an idea on paper. I’m not starting another project right now.

Maybe after I release the new Elf Kingdom update, I’ll think about this idea a little more and see if it’s actually something worth pursuing.

For now, though, my main focus is still getting the new update finished and released.
