PC Problems

🛠️ Development Update

Well, for now I’ll really have to wait for the new components to arrive before I can put my PC back together.

Since the motherboard burned out, I also decided to buy a more powerful processor. I was having quite a lot of trouble keeping several things open at the same time — Brave, animation software, editing programs, sounds, image adjustments, etc. — so I’m hoping that a processor with more cores and threads will help a lot with that.

The processor should arrive in about five days, while the motherboard is expected to arrive between the 13th and 20th.

The guy is also testing my graphics card and power supply to make sure they’re working properly. So far, those are the components being tested.

Unfortunately, this ended up delaying my plans. I had already calculated everything and, if I kept up with my planned work schedule, I would have been able to release the update next week, probably on Monday.

Most of the code is already finished. What’s really left are the animations: around 60% are already done, but some still need polishing, editing, sounds, and final testing.

So as soon as my PC is back, I’ll go straight back to working on that.

For now, all I can do is wait and hope everything works this time, hahaha.
