The World is Going to Sh*t
[Early Access]
Hello Patrons,
With global trade routes being closed there is great strain on the transportation of everything. That includes fertiliser, and there's one big problem with that, the world runs on that sh*t.
This video goes into why that's a big deal and the history of fertiliser in geopolitics.
It's been a bit quiet on the Patreon here lately, we have mentioned that's because we've been working on some big projects. The first of those is now finished and we'll be showing it to you soon, you'll get a look at it before it goes public too. We know you're going to really like it.
Thank you for the support,
The FJ Crew

"Fuck you, see you next time"
Missed chance to talk about Fritz Haber! Nobel prize in chemistry for the Haber process (mentioned in the video - used in a third of annual global food), but also the "father" of chemical warfare (a gas he created was used to kill 1m+ Jews) -- and he was a Jew himself.
Release the Greens files, c'mon man. Enough filler Patron videos!
morishiana? That's not a country!
Feed the planet: we must master organic recycling and composting / garden waste. Soils at Bunnings are leaving a lot to be desired… Councils don’t allow tenants to order green waste bins and my real estate / landlord refuses to get me one. So that goes to the tip. Irritates me. Want a better planet? Feed the earth organic food and garden waste matter. It’s something we could do a lot better. Plastics: there’s so many different types. Yep. We could reduce so much packaging. It’s unbelievable. Yep. Great video Jordies! 🙌
Also, food waste might be because less people can afford to buy it. Supermarkets are giving away to “Second Bite” or similarly funded food charities - who take the food people haven’t (been able to buy) bought. And governments fund the charities and their trucks and these deliver that food to the poor people - who are poor because JobSeeker isn’t enough to eat and survive any type of other living cost. So there’s food waste because people are hungry and other people don’t give a shit. We could #RaiseTheRate and that food could be bought by hungry people who would eat it, preferring it fresher and to have choice. But what would I know? 🤨
Cool, well, I hope Labor wins the next election so we can avoid famine. It's probably fine - I feel this way every time I think about global fertilizer supply chains.
It’s very serious. 🧐
Maybe I'm just a bit thick, but I alwaya find these type of FJs videos a bit too fast to follow
The pronunciation of Mauritania is horrendous, please consider re-recording this as it undermines the authority of your research for the video if you can't get the pronunciation of a nation correct. You're making it sound like Mauritius. Otherwise, good video.
For the plebs, it's pronounced "MORE-IT-TAYN-IA"
The GOAT has returned
Awesome production, great entertainment, and today I learned more about some very important shit. Thanks Jordie and crew!
The Pol Potting mix gag sent me.
Free speech is now just ‘three speech’ given political degradation across society isn’t it. Tax gas exports Cut net migration It’s Albo’s fault Fire the liar It’s your money (superannuation) Regulate data centres We’ve had enough Defund the NDIS Thank you for making videos that have a greater depth than four words 👍
What a s̶h̶i̶t̶ fertilised video
I did not have a video based on the geopolitical struggles of fertiliser on my bingo card but here we are
Pol potting mix isn't what it used to be. I rarely find any gold fillings any more when I sift through it.
Steve keen goes on and on about it and how economists don't understand it being an issue.
