You Should Be Afraid of this Company
[Early Access]
Hello Patrons,
Here's a video on another of the world's current boogeymen: Palantir. Let's take a look at its insane background and why people hate it so much. We'll also take a step back and look at it in a global context.
Sources can be found at the bottom of this post.
Jordan's US tour has come to an end and we'll be back at full production capacity shortly. If you've been following the news closely there's a story you might be expecting us to cover. Expect something big on that soon, you're going to like it.
Note: We'd really like to hear your thoughts on the ending to this video. We're thinking of changing it for the public release because it comes off as too positive rather than simply an explainer of how governments approach these technologies. Let us know if you think it needs altering.
Thank you all for the support!
The FJ Crew

Did he just call Linux a company😂
nah man fuck duolingo
China is also moving to Linux: https://www.zdnet.com/article/china-drops-windows-for-linux/
So Jordies is tech illiterate wow how surprising
Allowing algorithms to service people and people to have little ability to override systems is highly problematic… of course integrity, humanity, fairness and dignity must be central to all government systems / is there such a code of conduct? What does the Bill on Human Rights proposed by Andrew Wilkie have to say about this? And wouldn’t it be wise to be looking at ethics and accountability as assured safeguards before embarking on any such projects with vigour? For Australians and our prosperity as a country that looks after “all” of its own. Systems need to ensure care, not remove it and gaslight us telling us it’s still there. - as so many AI bots as “service responders” to so many organisations are these days. These bots are failing us all so often as it is. Where are the checks and balances?
Data centres and AI and water and energy. What do you think Jordan?

wtf, are you looking for a job at palter, nothing to see here folks, everythings A ok. Grow some balls and earn your patrion money. @#$% palanter
Great vid, missing a big chocky reference for the fatwa though
4:03... Pee Jizz teams... Seriously?
Surprised he didn't make a joke about that
i love the subtle cross overs from the uplates that jordan always slips in
Publicly funded corporate control of gov data and infrastructure what could go wrong
Only saying this because you guys were thinking of changing it. I reckon the vid does come off a little more positive than an ‘explainer.’ Maybe more time on the risks/downsides, and the insane ideology of the tech bros. Plenty of interesting stuff in your vid though, Love your work. Best team in the country.
I don't trust Palantir, especially with its ties to the US Government. With the whole France moving to Linux, it is the equivalent of the blocking of the Strait of Homuz but with Operating Systems. Linux distributions are open source, if someone had the time and resources, they could make their own Linux distribution, it doesn't have excessive bloatware and doesn't use as much computing resources compared to Windows. France probably wants more control of it's data and doesn't want a single instance from windows from disrupting and ruining all their information and computing systems/networks. With the whole ending to the video, I don't trust a company like Palantir to responsibly use their software, like how Jordan doesn't trust Nuclear Power Plants being constructed, used and maintained responsibly due to excessive radiation affecting the populace and environment, I don't trust Palantir to use intelligence software responsibly while not invading privacy of innocent civilians and causing unwanted destruction and injustice to the world.
Red Rooster is a money laundering outfit. Must be.
You REALLY need to mention that this shit is already being used in your local Coles *RIGHT NOW*. Palantir do not share their data with governments. We don't know what they're doing with it. We have no way to avoid it other than *not using a major supermarket chain that represents about 50% of options for most people*. I work in a Coles and it's gross that you can see yourself being 'targeted' by the security system every time you walk by the entrance.
I wrote a whole comment but it somehow wiped before I could post it. Basically, this video is too light touch. This company is truly terrifying and playing a huge role in ICE rounding up hundreds of thousands of people in US, killing civilians in the genocide in Gaza, and basically creating the structure of surveillance state to destroy our human rights. Yes, we should be scared of this company. They even have contracts with our supermarkets like Coles, to help surveil customers, use facial recognition to profile. Other companies have deals with Palantir too. It is really scary where this is going. The ceo and founder Alex Karp and Peter Thiel are legit psychopaths. Karp published a white supremacist manifesto on ‘defending western values’ by that he means orthodox russian and US white supremacist values. The comedian Sean Reilly (sean’s show) covers Palantir in detail and has been covering them since 2023. For an Autistic deep dive into this company I recommend checking out his podcast. You can also read the book the Palestinian Laboratory by Anthony Lowenstein that I think from memory covers Project Labender in more detail.
Yoooo Jordie you missed the point of France moving to Linux. Most companies and countries in the world use Linux (including Microsoft lol). France and other EU nations are going to move alot of their government systems to Linux because they want to take on the SaaS monopolies which is ironically much easier to do thanks to AI (which Microsoft has invested in). Microsoft as a company has been riding a big wave of good faith which it built in the 90s but alot of their modern products are just rubbish with a huge price tag on them. Plus I think the close relationship with Microsoft and the current administration (which has tanked international relations with the EU in particular) has caused them to become more concerned about data sovereignty. There was recently a case where Microsoft willing de anonymised a user by handing over telemetry which they hadn't disclosed they gathered to users to the FBI. This to me signals that confidential data might not be as secure with them in particular as we first thought
Microsoft also allegedly removed access to emails to prosecutor and staff at the ICC which is a huge sovereign risk. This was the catalyst to them moving to Linux I believe.
While I agree with your “controversial” take on data centers im not quite sure about this one. Perhaps the government using a company thats literally named after an all seeing eye is not the best move. Especially, do we want the liberals or god forbid one nation access to such tech? Also the Windows argument doesn’t really make sense as Linux is genuinely better software than Windows now.
Interesting take nevertheless tho.
Seems a fairly loose attitude to regulatory capture, an already endemic problem we want to be lowering our exposure to, rather increasing. The answer to why Jordies has done such a soft video on Palantir is given at the start... the CIA have video of Jordies jacking off the whales.
panlintr has video footage of the naked orange incident I'm sure of it
I'm not a fan of palintr. They are forcing governments to rely on them and France developing Thier own system does give the world and out given the goals publically stated by palantr for the NHS in the U.k for example.
Yea it was found lotta NHS staff can’t be fkd logging in, so Palantirs effectiveness is inflated. Plus all the moral n ethical problems
Firstly, love seeing a Mark David cartoon enhancing your work. Secondly, and in answer to your question, I'm in a quandry about Palantir. The theoretical uses are great and should be very beneficial to us all. The social uses however will lead to more control of people to the benefit of the tech bros and whoever else they designate as worthy of being our overlords. As a genuine boomer, I don't have much investment in this as I'll be dead long before the dystopia arrives in its fullest glory. I do however wish good luck to all the post-millennials and their cyberspace addicted offspring.
How dare you slander my good red rooster! I’m going to “rooster roll” you next time I see you
Ha! No shit.
Did the yanks kick him out early for eating oranges naked ?
It was considered offensive to Dear Leader.
