They're Still Fuming

Hello Patrons,
We haven't been able to get you many early videos lately because we've just been in a rush to release as much as possible after the budget. We're pretty sure this is the content you want to see though so we hope you've been enjoying all the videos.

This is another similar one going into more detail about the CGT changes in the budget and is in line with what you voted for on the last Patreon poll. It'll come out later today. The long gas video we've been teasing is set to be the next thing we put out after this one, if possible we'd love to give you all an early look at that one soon.

Thank you all for your support,
The FJ Crew

We need these tax reforms or Australia will cement a peasant class.

I've just checked, there exist no tee shirts with Jim Chalmers' face surrounded by a big heart. Any chance of a merch? Would buy several.

Honestly these whingers are such insufferable c#nts, I think if anything it should galvanise support to increase taxes on them further. Actually... Can we just seize their assets, or enslave them? I know grandfathering is supposed to be a noble gesture, but the petty "aspirational rentier" class are so fking atrocious that finding ways to torment them further would only be a positive for society. I think Chairman Albo has been to generous to them, at the vary least someone should start a meme campaign roasting these people

I understand removing capital gains tax rebate for property as it was accelerating an asset that was not producing any value and making it more expensive for a commodity that all Australians needed. However what is the thinking behind removing it for share investment? Wouldn’t providing a rebate on CGT incentivise people do invest in those business assets and help innovation / production?

Hmm, but the majority of people would invest in big companies / ETFs or in foreign markets like the US etc.? I know for me, most of my investments are in the S&P 500 and ASX 200, which admittedly does little / nothing for Australia's productivity and innovation. Not to mention share investment covers completely different investments like crypto as well. Point being there's only one very specific type of "investment" that would actually benefit Australian innovation and productivity, which could be incentivised in other ways, than a broad brush CGT discount.

Jordie's, my friend. I didn't realise just how evil this Labor government has been with its budget until I caught the political insights & analysis of whining "comedian" Dave Hughes. Normally I would urge Hughesy to stick to comedy...but he ain't funny. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1EBemRnXfm/

Where's the patreon only video on Labor privatising the banks in the 80's that Mr Shankman promised to megaspergs?

I disagree, laughing at people stupider than you are gets old, and does little to improve yourself.

I think I stayed at that Kuta Beach resort. I feel personally attacked.

Another gift from howard, weakening the nation. No consequences for him.

PLEASE expose these "muh start-up" AI slop suckholes. I bet most of them are private school trust fund babies who've never worked an honest day in their lives!

I am curious about how this will affect mortgages of first home buyers. If their is less speculation on housing (which ofc good thing) but their mortgage was set before these tax and neg gearing changes. Then will they be getting ripped off? Essentially losing money on the asset they worked so hard to get? If that's just the harsh reality we have to cop for this problem to be fixed I get that, but a lot of people will be understandably upset

The argument many wise heads will have is that having a home is still objectively better than renting, so even on a 'bad' deal, they could potentially just sell while it's still high and move nearby or just eat the loss and be happy in their home? Part of the realignment of value for homes needs to come socially. If you're happy in your home it doesn't really matter if you overpaid.
