News

👥 Team Expansion

Version 0.3.0 came with a large number of bugs. That's completely normal — our lead developer is primarily focused on story development, new mechanics, and wrestling with RPGM. After receiving your feedback, we realized it was time to actively test the game. That's why we hired a second developer who will handle testing in parallel. Version 0.3.5 is proof of that. We guarantee there will be significantly fewer bugs going forward!

Among our subscribers, there are truly talented people. One of them has been invited to join the team to work on Hermione's outfits — something our players have been waiting for! Costume creation runs parallel to the main development cycle, meaning costume updates will be released as they are ready. We hope you'll love it!

⚙️ New Engine

We've decided to build our own engine for our games. RPGM turned out to be too clunky — it requires a lot of manual work, has performance issues, and hasn't been updated in a long time. We decided to take the best ideas from RPGM and Ren'Py and combine them into one solution.

We're not sure yet whether Hermione's Shop will be migrated to the new engine, but new games will definitely be built on it. The lead developer is currently working on it — afterwards it will be handed off to the second developer. Current progress: 20%.

🌐 Website, Suggestions & Community Activity

As you know, we recently launched our website and continue to develop it alongside our Discord server. A player suggestion system is currently in development — so you'll be able to vote for the best ideas. We also plan to tie in the achievement system, which will work both on the website and in Discord. A big thank you to our beloved community manager! We're doing our best to keep things fun and engaging, and we promise more activities are coming ❤️

🎮 Game Development

We are currently working on 2 patches in parallel:

1. Main patch — story continuation. We want to expand the sleep, hygiene, and cleanup mechanics, as well as push the story forward.

2. Fanservice patch — costumes! They won't affect the main story, but it's always nice to change outfits 😉 This patch will also include a proper shop where Hermione can buy costumes and various items.

We also heard that players sometimes struggle to find all the counter poses during work — so a selection system will be implemented. We haven't decided which patch it will land in yet, but we promise it's coming soon! A full gallery is also in the plans 🎨
