Alpha Update!
We have some difficult news. During her routine bandage change today, the vet discovered blood flow to her tail had stopped. The only option was amputation.
She's in surgery now and, if all goes well, will be home tonight.
We're heartbroken and needed a few hours to process this ourselves. Right now we're just hoping her recovery is as smooth as possible, and we'll keep you posted once she's back with us.
