Jujutsu Kaisen - The Movie : JJK0 | Reaction & Review | “Those two were BFF”

Meet Yuta Okkotsu: a traumatized teen haunted by his dead childhood sweetheart Rika—except she's not just haunting him, she's a Special Grade vengeful spirit who will literally murder anyone who looks at him funny. Gojo scoops him up, sticks him in Jujutsu High with Maki, Toge, and Panda, and tries to teach him curse control.

Enter Suguru Geto, evil sorcerer and collector of curses, who decides Rika's power belongs to him. Cue the Tokyo vs. Kyoto showdown, an army of cursed spirits, and Yuta realizing he was the one who cursed Rika all along—by refusing to let her die.

The twist? True love's first words were apparently "I hereby release you from this curse." Cue sobbing.
