Attack On Titan: S3 E9 | “That thing is massive!”

Season 3 hits peak chaos as the Survey Corps takes on Rod Reiss’s absurdly massive Titan, which is literally leaning over the Wall like a half-baked turkey ready to destroy Orvud District. With the city seconds from becoming a buffet, Eren acts as an explosive delivery service, shoving a bundle of gunpowder barrels straight into Rod’s mouth for a fireworks show that would make any action movie proud. It’s a desperate, high-risk plan—but somehow it actually works.

The real star of the episode, though, is Historia Reiss, who ignores orders to stay safe and dives straight into the chaos to deliver the final, legendary blow. By killing Rod in front of the civilians, she publicly claims her crown and proves she’s done being anyone’s pawn. The episode ends with Levi getting a long-overdue punch to the arm and Historia being crowned the new Queen—one who isn’t afraid to throw hands when it counts. 👑🥊
