The wait is finally over! The update I promised you is officially live, and holy hell, this one was a journey. Grab your coffee (I know I have mine back ☕😂) and let's dive into everything that's new!

1. New Character: Meet Disa! 🌙

I'm so excited to introduce the newest girl to the Dane universe: Disa!

She comes with her complete story arc, multiple poses, CGIs, and she is fully voiced. I really went all out on this one, guys. One small note: her pregnancy arc is being kept under wraps for now and will be revealed during the official release. Some surprises are worth saving. 😉

Where to find her: Head to the temple at night. That's all I'm saying. Go say hi.

2. New Location + New Mechanic

This is the big technical one. There's a brand new location in the village: it's the first door on the left side when you enter. Inside, you'll meet a very nice lady who will offer you... a dream. 😴

And in this dream? You can buy and change the outfits of ALL the characters! That's right. A full outfit system, something I've wanted in the game for a long time.

I'll be honest with you guys: this mechanic took a serious toll to build. The main script now sits at 1.6k lines, and I pray to never have to dig back into it to find anything there ever again. 😂

Keep in mind this system is still in development... think of this as version one. I'll be making it more complete, more interesting, and packed with more options in the next updates. But the foundation is there, and it works!

3. Two New Animated Steareggs! 🥚✨

The stearegg collection grows! This update brings animated steareggs for Kara and Seer — and they turned out really good.

A short tip, exclusively for you guys (don't tell anyone 🤫):

• Kara's stearegg is hidden somewhere in the village 🏘️

• Seer's stearegg is hidden somewhere in the temple ⛩️

Good luck hunting!

After this, only Runa's and Disa's steareggs are missing, and then we are done with steareggs! One more big step toward the official release, uhul!

4. Why This Update Took So Long (A Quick Recap)

As I explained in my previous post, life decided to throw everything it had at me these past weeks. The short version for anyone who missed it:

It started with a family emergency that had me running back and forth to the ER. All that hospital time got me sick, then I passed it to my wife, then caught an even worse rebound sickness. Just when I thought it was over, my hard drive completely died, taking two weeks of work with it and forcing me to scramble for a whole new setup. And the final boss: a 7-day antibiotic run with a strict zero coffee rule. Practically a death sentence. 😂

But the storm has passed, the coffee is flowing again, and the update is HERE.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who sent kind words of support during that mess. It genuinely means the world to me. A special shout-out to Chris, Nonjabomb, and Keenir. ❤️

5. What's Coming Next 📋

Now that this update is out, here's my battle plan for the coming days and weeks:

1. Finish updating the Steam pages for both games: Dane AND my our game. Submit the Dane Steam Demo for approval. 🚂

2. Share the first build of the next game with you guys! Yes, you're getting your hands on it very soon. 👀

3. Finish the Dane artbook.

4. Start preparing the next Dane update: the grind never stops!

⚠️ One Quick Heads-Up!

I'm testing a new analytics system in the game with this update. During my own playtests, it caused some issues when opening the game. I believe I've fixed it, but if the game gives you any trouble launching, please let me know right away! I'll remove the analytics and push a fixed version ASAP. Your experience always comes first. 🙏
