What comes next? 馃崋? (Part 11) + Dev Update

First off, let's talk about the results of our last poll:

For this poll, I need you to vote on our newest addition: The Bank Manager! She鈥檚 incredibly smart and successful, but practically buried under a mountain of paperwork and corporate stress. All work and no play is taking its toll on her, and she is in desperate need of a major distraction from her spreadsheets. Which design do you think fits our overworked local banker?
Behind the Scenes: Expanding the Team! 馃殌
I want to share a little of what has been happening behind the scenes lately. Quick flashback: my brother, who also works in the games industry like me, was recently laid off. A few weeks ago, we decided to try creating a very short game together in 72 hours just to see if working together would work.
Well... it turned out so good that we realized we had to use what we created! So, we decided to integrate it as a brand-new feature inside the big new game I'm planning (the one you are all voting on characters for)
What that means is we are officially working together! But how would this workflow actually work? I've been working solo on Dane for over a year at this point. His forte is coding and polishing. It would be a bit of a bummer to put him on the Dane project when things are already kind of "done" on the backend there. So, we came to the conclusion that the best approach is really for him to start working on the new game right now.
But, I was busy with Dane, and he needs assets to start working. So, we found some new people to collaborate with:
Someone to work on Sound.
Someone to give life to my script ideas (the writer I mentioned last time!).
Someone to help with the Animation.
The "creation" part is still 100% on me, but I'm planning to get help to "finalize" the things I imagine. That's the goal now. With this, I hope we can finish Dane even earlier than what was planned (December/Jan 2026) and already roll a second game in parallel.
Because of all this, the Dane update this month is taking a little bit longer than usual. I'm having to set up this new workflow with all these people so we can start working together smoothly. I need to create buffer art to send to the animator, buffer script summaries to send to the writer, and UI assets to send to my brother so he can start working on the new game. Stuff like that!

I never stopped working on Dane, but I want to be completely transparent: I am a bit delayed on the schedule I originally gave you all. Idk guys, bringing on a whole team is a huge leap for me, and I really hope this is the right call. I'm doing everything in my power to make sure this doesn't bite me in the butt later and that we still hit our Jan deadline. I'm learning as I go, but I'm incredibly excited to take this massive next step on our journey together.
If this works, it鈥檚 going to be incredible. Working with a team is just way more fun than work completely alone. If it doesn't? Well... then I've officially bitten off more than I can chew, and I'll just have to finish both games solo... Fuck it, no Plan B here. We are getting these done one way or another! 馃槀

When the new release
some short hair girls would be sweet :P
It鈥檚 a shame we can鈥檛 do Ranked Choice/Instant Runoff voting in these polls. I think that would give us a much better idea of who is really more popular. You might find out that one girl is #2 for just about everyone, but rarely makes it into the #1 position. So, she might be a better choice than the person who gets the most #1 votes, but her overall total number of votes is much lower.
BM7 also has bigger boobs than BM8, but not sure what her size is related to BM9. I would take either of these over BM8.
BM3 could be a pissed off teller, but not the manager.
BM5 is a socialite, not a bank manager. BM2 is the same girl, in a different outfit.
BM9 does look like she has bigger boobs than BM8. So, for that reason, I would choose BM9, if it came down to these two.
But my actual vote goes for BM1. She looks a bit more hefty, and like she may have the biggest boobs, you just can鈥檛 tell under that sweater dress.
BM8 is the most professional looking of them. BM4 is right behind her, but showing off a bit more of her assets. I鈥檇 prefer BM4 over BM8, for that reason.
1,4,9 all strike me as well-fitting for the managers.
Well that's true in that regard
I think numbers 5, 7, 9 are the best ones in my opinion.
