The Most Unexpected Project I’ve Ever Done
Today I had the chance to work with an incredibly talented Ukrainian sculptor, and I’m still so excited about it 🤍
We spent the day scanning and measuring my body in three completely different poses, each one carrying its own mood, symbolism, and story. The next step is to render all of the 3D scans and decide which pose translates best into a sculpture.
Right now we’re still choosing between two directions: creating a small ceramic sculpture or a life-sized 3D-printed one. Nothing is set in stone yet, and honestly, I can’t wait to see how the renders turn out before making the final decision.
Because of the current challenges of producing art and running a business in Ukraine, the actual creation process will likely take around a year. It feels like such a long wait, but I already know it’ll be worth it.
There’s also a chance that, before the final sculpture is finished, we’ll release one of the rendered images as a high-quality art print or poster. So you might get to see the project long before the physical sculpture exists.
I’m genuinely so, so excited about this collaboration. It feels incredibly special to create something that can exist beyond photography - something physical, timeless, and artistic.
I’d love to hear your thoughts: what kind of image or aesthetic do you think suits me best as a sculpture? Which version of me would you love to see immortalized in this form?
I’ll attach a few photos of the sculptor’s previous works below so you can get a feel for her incredible style 🤍

Can you show us what poses you are considering & we can offer feedback on them?

absolute stunning project! so creative - you as a ceramic figurine will be unique, looking for the art print, hoping there will be a opportunity to buy it. Very exciting, the long wait will be no problem. Perhaps sth. dediated to St. Javelin... You make my day 💙💛🤗 love your work, you are really special, unique and changeable ❤️

That's so cool!

Fascinating. I see that her exquisite ceramics are always small, but I can't help hoping that a real-space image of you would be larger.

Cool stuff Solomia! Seeing you represent the Divine Feminine would be wonderful. Or, perhaps a twist on some legends, thinking Baba Yaga--a younger, beautiful version of her, but no less powerful!
