What's next for COMPILATIONS?

With the Ted DiBiase in Mid South set that was added to COMPILATIONS last Sunday, we have now added all of the wrestler compilations that goodhelmet made. There are two additional sets that he created that are not there at this time because I do not have them. If I find them, I will add them:

• Death of WCW

• ECW Memories

I don’t have the MOTYC sets (2005-2011 + 2013) but I also think we have most of that footage in much better quality now and a modern look at those years might also yield different match selections, so I don’t feel strongly compelled to seek those out and add them. However, if anyone sees it differently, I’m open to other opinions.

There are some non-goodhelmet reconstructed comps I will be dropping over the coming weeks and months. You saw one on Sunday with Eastside Connection. However, the weekly schedule will soon slow down just because we will start to exhaust options of old comps that we can add.

There are also some new (new, as in, they don’t exist yet) sets that will be added to COMPILATIONS in the months ahead:

• Will (goodhelmet) still has ideas for things he wants to do and when he puts them together, this will be the home for those sets and where they’re released

• The DVDVR 80s project will restart, most likely before year’s end, with a second edition of the 1980s WWF set

• 1980s Yearbooks (I have a plan in place to tie these to some other features coming to Wrestling Playlists when we reach the conclusion of the 1980s in the daily issues, so you can expect all of these to be released in 2027)

• There will eventually be a 1980s Crockett set! Mark my words.

• The Season of Giving will take place once again in December with dozens of new releases in a short period of time.

• I would like for there to also one day be 1990s sets (and beyond?), 2000s yearbooks, and compilations of some modern great wrestlers too!

For those who are subscribing to COMPILATIONS now, nothing will change about your access. You will keep access to everything that’s been added so far and new things will continue to be added. It’s just that because we’re close to getting all of the old comps archived, we have pretty much exhausted goodhelmet’s creations. Rest assured that I am always planning new things to add and will try to keep a good pace, I just can’t say for sure that there will be something new every week.

I appreciate your support as we’ve gotten to this point. The goodhelmet archive, with some minor exceptions, is now complete! I hope you enjoy your subscription and stay tuned for more.

Thanks,
Charles
