On the LEFT is my original model, a mashup design that required a tremendous amount of time, planning, sculpting, testing, and attention to detail. It was created by combining two fandoms that genuinely love.
On the RIGHT is an AI-generated imitation now being sold by @dreammesh2025, operating under the Patreon name Dream Mesh.
There is a massive difference between being inspired by the same popular franchises and taking another creator’s original concept, feeding it through AI, and attempting to profit from the result. Everyone in this industry follows trends and plans releases around upcoming games, movies, and shows. That is normal.
This is not that.
Dream Mesh’s Patreon is filled with low effort AI generated models based on concepts and artwork developed by hardworking creators. The side by side comparison shown here speaks for itself.
Typing a prompt does not make you an artist. Generating an imitation does not make it an original design.
I will always stand behind real artists, real sculptors, and models created by actual people.

This awareness needs to be EVERYWHERE with 3D printing. I'm so tired of paying subscriptions only to have the model ripped off by someone and the customer supporting them because they're unaware.
