Features
More Traits in CAS lets you add more traits to your sims in Create a Sim.
The ages and their new personality trait counts:
Young Adult and older: 5 traits (up from 3 previously)
Teen: 4 traits (up from 2)
Child: 3 traits (up from 1)
Toddler: 2 traits (up from 1)
Infants remain at one trait.
Remember that despite more traits being available, you don't need to fill out all traits!
Self discovery (from Growing Together/EP13) still works with this mod installed, so your sim can still unlock even more traits during gameplay.
They'll show as a little hexagon near the second to the last trait.
What's new?
A slightly redesigned trait layout makes it easier to add more variants down the road. The previous version went over the sides because it added more traits while keeping the same size, but this update makes them fit in the original space. Lot traits are now also more similar to the human traits in layout.
What's fixed?
The personality trait panel extending beyond the right corner of the box when aging up or drinking the personality potion is now fixed. Lots of behind the scenes changes were also made to make updating More Traits in CAS much easier using python scripts to edit the xml.
Compatibility
This modifies the traitsmoleculelibrary gfx file, and also the sims.aging.aging_tuning tuning and simdata files. Any mod that modifies these will conflict with More Traits in CAS.

Where did the chingyu version go?
Vicky Sims/chingyu hasn't posted on their patreon since September 2025, and while thepancake1 did continue to make a compatible version of More Traits In CAS, it will no longer be supported.
This mod will therefore conflict with More CAS Traits Mod/MoreTraits_Options by Vicky Sims/chingyu.
Can I uninstall the mod?
Yes, but any traits exceeding the default EA maximum will be removed on your sim.

If you are referring to the Complete Traits Pack by klimter, yes you can use that mod alongside More Traits in CAS.

With me taking over maintenence, the chingyu version will unfortunately no longer be supported. I am sorry if this causes issues.

The mod status can be found at the very top of each individual mod page, as well as on the Mod Status tab. As can be seen for this one, it is compatible with 1.128.90, which is the newest update released on September 22. So yes ;)

The current version from Pancake should be fine. But let me know if you continue receiving reports after it has been cleared/updated for today's patch (Sep 22nd).

I do not have any plans to start supporting it. However note that the compatible version was only needed to use with More CAS Traits Mod/MoreTraits_Options by chingyu, which edited the amount of possible traits. Any of their other mods adding new traits is still fine to use alongside More Traits in CAS. Sorry if this change causes issues.

No it will conflict. With this switch, the chingyu version will unfortunately no longer be supported. I am sorry if this causes issues.

Thanks for asking. Yes their trait packs are fine to continue using alongside this mod. The conflict is specifically with chingyu's MoreTraits_Options that edits the amount of traits you can assign. Just wanting to double check, so I will need to get rid of Chingu's V1 100 trait thingie to use this one that you will be keeping updated, correct? Super appreciated you taking on the mantel for this mod! I'm just checking so I can keep the rest of my mods compatible and working working properly?
"The 100 Base Game Traits Pack V1" itself is fine to continue to use, as it only adds new traits. The conflict is specifically with chingyu's MoreTraits_Options that edits the amount of traits you can assign. Though it should be noted that chingyu hasn't updated their mods in a long time, and could still cause issues on their own. The version you may have downloaded before from thepancake1's page is still compatible, though I have uploaded it here as well now. However if it needs an update with the next patch, it will only be found here.
