Spoilers I think the ending ruined it. If the ending stayed with the guy being Timmy and he's a mentally ill gay (still nice change of pace compared to it being a gay protagonist) the twist would've been a lot better
Gary didnt do any time. He got community service
Chawed (correct spelling is Chaude, pronounced "showed") is the word "Hot" in French. Froy (correct spelling is Froid, pronounced "fwah") is the word "Cold" in French.
I feel like part 7 was good until the “it wasn’t Timmy” part. I mean yeah it’s “over explained” the whole story but it feels like it sorta makes re listening/ re-reading the story make those scenes have so much more malice and dread in them
did they take the pen pal author interview down? haven’t ever seen it on the patreon and have looked through all of it multiple times
Search “author interview” and it’ll pop up. It was posted in September 2025.
2:30:52 “LAAADIES” - Big John
It kinda angered me how weird crap keeps happening at Timmy’s. But they keep going there
Pretty goated story!
This is the first episode where I actually know the story
I was a kid when I heard it and it gave me a fear of my window lmao.
Paul Dano mentioned hello
This story isn't bad, but i feel like its a representation of the "woman in the fridge" trope. The suffering and horror of what flora had to have experienced is glossed over and only implied for the sake of being disturbing, however it did accomplish it very well and was definitely the scariest part of the story for me.
Stories spending hours of your time setting up one thing, and then rug pulling you with another thing that you never could have possibly pieced together logically will never not feel like an insult
If the mf keeps havin stuff to say can yall mic him up? I cant fuckin hear lol
This has to be the first time i disagree with their critiques
On my way to Flyfish currently listening to this episode I can confirm that you can get mad wild fly fishing
Have we done a version of this story before? A shorter/less fleshed out version? The whole time listening to this I'm like, "Damn that sounds familiar" 😅
Anyone hear the creepy voice at 1:04:00 ish?
Please read Neon Genesis : Evangelion next
I remember can-man.
Can we please get the rest of Stolen Tongues?
oh there's more to the original story? I know there's a book but I thought the o.g. post ended where they left off
Tragically bad end, entire last part
What was that story they spoke about that was take down I swear I have heard it but I have terrible memory 😭😭😭
Hey guys.... I'm beginning to think Hunter wasn't paying attention to the story.... It sounds like he thinks Timmy was a child and was interested in the older dad..... And not catching that the protagonists dad was the same age as Timmy when timmy wanted to bang him or whatever
The way to solve most issues in this entire episode. https://youtu.be/CQU50NDu6zg?is=_cjuA6hck7zGNEgc
We have got to start micing up any off-screen people if they’re gonna keep participating in the conversation. All for giving Harry a mic, say aye ✋🏽
for real. i love the off-screen banter. I still crack up everytime I hear Nik go "oh system operator" in the smile dog episode 😂
Jared Roberts and Marcus Kliewer are EASILY tied for my favorite writers you introduced us to! Never dislike anything about either of their works. The Hidden Webpage is still something I love going back to.
“Jean-Baptist, who is that man?”
jokes aside i get chills when hunter hits the "HE SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGS!"
so much content
The guy who shot the guy got community service
If the boys want to cover more Jared Roberts... They should do an ep on his series "Some Weird Stuff Happened to My Paralyzed Friend" (The title may be generic but it's another J Roberts banger and I think the ending to this one is actually pretty good)
We need to get Harry a mic. I can’t hardly hear him whenever he chimes in.
YES, I been waiting for them to cover this one
Man, am I the only one that thought this story kind of sucked? More and more nonsense kept getting tacked on retroactively to artificially build intrigue until the characters and author completely lost the plot. The MC and his dad are some of the densest and most oblivious characters in any creepypasta ever.
poor taste
Just give Harry a mic already
Is it just me, but I felt like it was pointing to a supernatural almost possession the whole time? Like A LOT wouldn't be possible if it was just some guy. When Jimmy was doing the shriek dance, the dad said he was impossibly cold. Multiple people talked in an uncharacteristically flat tone and talked about being lonely down below. Maybe below as in where they buried that guy
Ending was shaky but overall an awesome story
Recommending The Arkansas Sleep Experiment
Hidden webpage was deffo my favorite story (aside from all timers like left right, MHE)
PLEASE READ THE HAAR BY DAVID SODERGREN!!!
This isn't so much a critique as it is me noticing something. I really wish they'd give stories with these kinda elements more of a chance. I don't believe that the author was like insecure or anything, I think he actually had it planned from the beginning, and I don't think it's supernatural. They were so focused on it being chaud or Timmy, when actually I do believe they mentioned the cabin guy pretty early on. The "mom" says that chaud ran into the man in the cabin before he found Timmy, and started living with him. And that the man in the cabin is responsible for why chaud is the way he is. Inturn, Timmy is the way he is probably because of chaud. When Timmy ran away, I find it highly likely that he went to the cabin. It says outright that that's where they took his sister. I think that couple was actually the dad and mom, that's why the cabin man said something about them being there to kill him. This might've even been what caused them to split up, this instant. That might be a reach, but we do know that that was the sister sitting in the corner. I kinda think that the man who killed dad, the one who couldn't be identified, might be the cabin man and his sister's kid, raised in this crazy household. I don't think I have all the pieces, but I do believe that it's all actually actually connected.
Gary Plauche is the Father of the year they're talking about. He spent a weekend in jail, a 7 year sentence that was immediately suspended, and 600 hours of community service that he filled by coaching through local girls baseball/softball team, which he did anyways.
I am very angry that my 5 bucks a month is not including that Cat song. What is up with that. XD GIVE ME MY SONG!!!!!!!!!
Hunter had me absolutely belly laughing this episode. Wow I needed that 😂 W episode I love you guys
I had an idea of where I thought this was going based on a bit Hunter was doing lol, but I thought it could’ve been such an effective stomach-drop moment. When he was doing the whole tape recorder bit, I had the idea of the antagonist (Timmy in my mind but really whoever) kidnapping the mom, forcing her to say a bunch of generic things so he could record them, and then killing her so that he could use her voice for his demented goals or whatever. Not exactly sure how that could’ve worked realistically l, but I thought it was a fun explanation for the off-putting tone (almost as if she’s just being made to read lines) and the “baby monitor” crackle effect. Idk just an idea that popped into my mind, but I loved this one overall (minus part 7 I agree with y’all there)
I don’t know if you guys will see this but if your gonna play another game, please checkout home safety hotline, it would be perfect for you guys.
Sending love from the the only New Zealand listener <3
Really this entire story feels like somebody saw how popular Penel got, and then tried to piggyback off of it with their own story in a similar vein. While also not being nearly as skilled of an author.. it’s like a Temu version of penpal
L take
HEEEEES A PHENOMENAL CAAAAAAAAT 😭
Was the woman in the house at the end flora?? She was trying to warn them.
Wtf hunter is a really good singer lmao
Timmy was walking backwards and shrieking? It sounds like that boy just found out about Michael Jackson😭 He was just moonwalking and going “HEE HEE!”
I've said this before on another story, but these ending chapters that explain everything, you're gonna get those from EVERYONE who was writing right out of highschool because it was required somewhere in the process of everything included in their writing portfolio. A lot of people were taught to write as just a form of busy work, a teacher doesn't want to sit and think about some aspect of a students story, they do not care about a deeper meaning, you're expected to write something, revise it 3 times and by the time you're at that 3rd one you're just hitting the word count and answering some checklist. And that part got really ingrained into the type of people who were writing these 10+ years ago.
Bad Man by Dathan Auerbach is also pretty good
Part 7 really felt like the author had a cool idea and wanted to explore that. Agree that should have been it's own story but it was creepy and unsettling in it's own right.
Was I the only one worried that the uncle was going to be a surprise pedo/murderer ?
we gotta get Harry a mic asap
We desperately need the producers micced up. I'm going nuts when they talk and I can't hear it
get harry a mic please!
Brooooooo. I just listened to this reading on Dark Somnium's YT then this drops the week after. Smh.
“My moms maneurisms haven’t changed” meanwhile the creeper over the phone with chip clips on his nipples doing his best Jennifer Coolidge impression
Just give harry a mic please
Yall HAVE HAVE HAVE to read “my family has been stalked for the past 4 years” PLEASEEEEEEEE
Am I going crazy or did they already read this story
The only other person I've found to think this. I swear we did it already!
First time they've read a story where I was like "Man, that story was great...Why is there still 40 minutes in the video?"
This story feels like a remixed penpal… but inferior in a lot of ways. Especially the ending part, he has this whole exposition dump about Timmy, but then it wants to have the “we don’t know anything about this creep, and he’s actually not Timmy” just like how in penpal we don’t know anything about the creep in that story. I had those feelings about it during the story but the ending really nailed it home
Im not gonna lie, with how often it mentioned "child sized" holes i was kinda worried it was gonna be that Flora had a child and they groomed it into another creeper
Obligatory comment that John Wayne Gacy had connections to a dude with known ties to national pedo rings and the Candyman Killer.
The whole rant on punishing pedophiles knowing Isaiah probably voted Trump is peak hypocrisy 😂
Rent free
ugh i was not expecting to have such a good story. i didn't hate part seven, but it definitely couldve been stronger if it trying to add this additional level of ooooh spooky so late in the game. like i already was tearing up at the idea of calling your mom for over a year and its not actually your mom. the man in the mattress had me sobbing. the ending felt more like a rumor or folk tale that, maybe, if it was introduced as like a 'my mom told me this story' thing earlier, it wouldve been like ah okay people have seen flora but they dont know its flora. anyways awesome story cant sleep now
great story, terrible for me that prisoners was spoiled this hard
It’s a 13 year old movie?
Its really nice when the stories have weight.
"You'd be so much better without bones" This is a scary ass fucking story dude. Holy shit. I don't think I've been so disturbed and intrigued by a story on this show since...I don't even remember. This shit is crazy.
I knew Hunter was bought in when that line and the Jellyfish line didn't send him to the moon
“Unironically I’ve never been a big hunter” bro is the biggest hunter I have ever seen
God this one hit close to home. When I was in middle school some creep followed me and my friend to school and he would take pictures of us. Luckily my friends parents were both FBI agents so me and my friend were safe. But good God I fucking hate thess pedophiles
2:30:52 I was hoping Big Jacob would enter the recording studio 😔
Gary Plauché, the father who killed his son's karate coach for being a pedophile, didn't serve any time in prison at all. He got a suspended sentence, a few years of probation, and 300 hours of community service. The charge was for manslaughter, not murder. He got away with it. All the cops and judges knew him. It was a small town. Nobody was going to put Gary Plauché in prison for what he did. He might have had to go to county jail while he awaited sentencing, but that's the extent of it.
This story reminds me of long legs, interesting if not slightly tropey in the first part, second part/ middle I was so locked in, ending drawn out explanation that leaves nothing to the imagination and just so in your face. The main character very much felt hollow and passive about the whole situation. I think a cool edit would be if you don’t say what happened to Timmy’s parents (left to interpretation esp with threats from the story like the rumor that they were incestious ) but kept him very lonely and they left him a lot of money, Timmy and the mentally ill man “visited” other children’s homes so they wouldn’t be lonely like him and it kept going well until the narrators family killed the man, just have Timmy be the psycho and the reason the divorce set him off is because they were “making their child lonely too” and keep all the life ruining stuff
I'd watch or listen to a CreepCast Movie Review podcast
Mad respect to the author for having a neocities site, fr
Lee Cronin's the Can Man
SPOILER: the painting at the end where the guy said he saw a face, wasnt a real guy behind the painting. He was a part of the painting. It was paralleling the guy who was in the Polaroid watching the main character's family.
6:54 I also love when a story grips me and puts me in a position that makes me say "Oh God!"
Omg Isaiah please just read😩
I’m not sure if anyone else has said this yet, but wendigoon you should definitely check out @The Cryptid Cabin on YouTube, he’s smaller but his idea is really cool and very good
Ah so penpal 2
As a schizophrenic person I am so deadass tired of the “big bad” ending up a schizophrenic man. I doubt most of these writers have met a schizophrenic person based on how supernatural and whimsical they portray it as. I for one don’t know anyone else in the community that has done nonsense to the degree creepypasta has portrayed of us…
Why are you typing on a blank Wattpad?
I think a mic for Harry might be good, I had a lot of trouble hearing him this episode
Either mic him up or remind him he isn't a host on this show, I dont care which
The church stories and Appalachian justice reminded me of some that my mom told me, but I was too little to really remember or know what was happening. When I was basically a toddler, we used to go to a church that was dying. It was in a part of the county that had fallen to drugs. Like labs and everything are there and get raided. The only people that still went was my mom, my sister and I, my grandparents, and an old couple. Apparently one time during a sermon a man came in and sat, but he started hooting and screaming and all. My mom said they thought he was probably high. My papaw apparently, at 60 some years old, drug him outside and told him he was scaring his grandkids, but he could stay if he kept quiet. They went back in, and the man started again and my papaw drug him back out and told him to leave or he was going to “really put the fear of God in him” lmao. My papaw was my hero. Also, at some point some dude apparently threatened the pastor, so the pastor started preaching with a pistol on the front pew. Wild times lol
His dad didn’t tell him shit
I do like the name being hot cold (chaud froid) after the tap
Really wish Isaiah would let Hunter finish his thoughts before interjecting and interrupting and taking over the entire analysis
He does it every time lmao
Absolute unit of a story, but it definitely twisted its ankle on the landing
Can you guys please do a Werewolf story sometime. I've been getting excited for Robert Eggers Werwulf, and it's close to Halloween
You know any good ones I could check out?
The boys when it's supernatural: Oh that was a cool story about abuse The boys when it's clearly not supernatural: Oh man that MS-paint PNG of the devil... I really hate when stories torpedo the realism like that... ?????????? Guys? Are you okay?
So close.! Horrible stupid ending.
The story had supernatural elements the whole time I don’t really understand their gripe with that at the end. I understand the explanation thing but not what they were talking about
Chef’s kiss fellas mwah! Hey for a Creep TV segment y’all should cover “VCR Willie” a YouTube Horror series by Alexanderthetitan. It’s not only very unique but it hits all the true necessities of horror without using cheap shots or being overly tropey. It’s also a satisfying slow burn that relies on being ambiguous. Check it out!
So who is the guy in the cabin? And how'd he get there if we're to assume the woman in the corner is flora. Or am I missing something ?
hunter gaslighting himself into liking the sexy neighbor story. i had no idea/ didn't remember that was the same guy who wrote the hidden webpage which is fkn crazy. sexy neighbor was cool but it really fuckin fell apart. seems like it was written by a high horny teenager lmao
Me wants free merch 🌶️💦
the hidden fappage was sicc
WELCOME BACK TO QUEEFCAST
Regarding bodies hidden within the walls and floorboards, look up Dennis Nilsen.
I like the one that says shum pulp
No one ever has a gun in these stories
the part with the house his dad got called to doesn't make sense because they left a note for him. so how was it the wrong house?
If you really wanted to make pt7 work after kidnapping and imprisoning Flora, Timmy takes he's frustrations out assaults her. Resulting in a child that Timmy teaches to follow in his footsteps.... I guess Flora ND Timmy Jr end up living in an isolated cabin. It's a jump but it's something lol
Can y'all consider giving the folks in the back a little mic? Their audio is too low to hear well xD
That Sexy Neighbor episode still haunts me.
personally, i feel like the ending makes it clear that the dad did in fact kill the wrong person, and the older man in the cabin at the end is chod froy and the mysterious new man who was arrested is actually a child of chod and the abducted sister, kinda effed up but that’s the sorta ending i came up with
Getting diddled as a kid was so worth it because now i get to listen to these grown men have a pedophile revenge fantasy. for three hours
Why would you take flash photography of a glass window?
Im thinking that maybe Flora had a baby while in the cabin and the new weirdo was the kid grown up? That would explain a lack of records if they were fully off the grid
eyes of my mother is genuinely a must watch
Ouuuu that story was really good! Kinda disappointed by the ending… but yeah. It was good!
A story that has a similar vibe to this one and Penpal that I strongly recommend is "A 'Mother's' Obsession."
Funny you mention Bennett Springs State Park because a few years ago 2 cannibals were arrested who were living near there.
Penpal is still my goat for sure
The dad who killed his son's abuser actually served no prison time at all: just five year's probation and some community service :) that was in the 80s, though... Being a p*do (only censoring in case patreon doesn't like that) is kind of in vogue these days with the upper echelon, or at the very least they're aren't being as secretive about it, so you'd really be rolling the dice if that happened today
I’m not sure if it’s just me, but this story felt extremely hard to follow. Like I still really have no idea what the hell happened and I’m re-listening to this for the third time.
I liked the ending I thought it gave it a slight supernatural ending. Part 7 was good I thought i honestly think it makes the story a little better than something just about a creep living in the woods I thought wendi daddy would like something with a supernatural twist.
I just rewatched the solo episode with hunter and I think that it’s the same shape shifting old man. It has all the same beats of the possession of other people, trying to mimic people and shape shifting. Also the weird rectangle void he uses in the neighbor episode might be akin to the closet that he was found in. There’s a weird thing with viewing people and observing them through technology that both of the old men characters share.
Could we give Harry a microphone, please? It's really hard to hear what he says when he's involved as much as this. That would be great ☺️
So was the unidentifiable creep the undocumented child of the old man from the cabin and Flora? At least that's what I got out of part 7. If that is the case is seems so unnecessary, the Timmy setup was so good and made the most sense.
Hunter would love him on that podcast. He’s pretty dark
I personally love when Hunter & Lips go off on a rant about topics only tangentially related to the story
I love creepcast
Please read asylum by Matt Dymerski. It’s by the same guy who wrote psychosis, and is connected to it
I really hate the sterotype of "creepy gay weirdo is the crazy person and pretends to be a woman" cause like i thought we left that in the 90s and with SotL. I think it would have bee better with, like what Hunter said, there was any indication that it was Timmy liking the dad in the beginning? Making seem more likely instead of a quick explainer at the end would have felt less offensive! Or just full supernatural! You cant have your cake and eat it too like it took away from the reality horror of it.
Isaiah try not to bring up guns or religion challenge level IMPOSSIBLE
Hunter talking about using a sling like he isn't the Goliath David had slain
Dude hunter with the generational bear trap
In my area, we had a guy shoot and kill a pedophile that was attempting to kidnap the guy's daughter. The police hate the guy who killed the pedophile because it brought up how incompetent they are. The pedophile had been arrested for sexual advances against a minor and they RELEASED HIM. On a supposed "clerical error." And that man went to on to kidnap a girl he had victimized prior. The man who shot him was acquited due to a mistrial (police fucked up THEIR OWN EVIDENCE) and went on to win the primary election to replace the current sheriff. It's a very polarizing case here in that people either hail him as a hero for taking a pedophile out of the community, or as a cold-blooded murderer that needs to be locked away forever.
what an absolute king, not only did he take out a threat, he went on to be the change
Just joshing around great episode
I hate you both I went to a party dressed as jeff the killer and no one knew who I was
Wendi dropping the f bomb was wild lol good story. Part 7 was unnecessary af. Penpal is still the goat.
The old lady is definitely Flora and the guy who killed the dad was Floras child with Timmy or the man
This was an excellent story 😩 ending was mehhh. But top 5 for sure
I know you just covered Stygian Sagas but I really feel like you should read The Fayette Mall Incident or Old Religion. Also going to rec my favorite guilty pleasure creepypasta The Long Face : )
Okay hear me out, the guy hypothetically perving on Isaiah that his dad attacked is the Bean Man from the cop same house story.
This is a bear trap, I commented this before Mr. Beans was mentioned 😂
Chawed Froy sounds like an English speaking person pronouncing chaud and froid which is hot and cold in French and can be found on a lot of faucets handles.
I'm having major déjà Vu right now. Didn't they already read this? Or was it a similar story about an indestructible pedophile? The part where they find out that Timmy's parents weren't actually there and it was just a closet sounds so familiar.
Wait.. what episode was taken down?? And why??
Does Isaiah actually use Zyn or is that like a running joke because I’ve heard that mention it twice now
I dont scare easily and usually listen to these when I cant sleep but nahhh man not this one. The second he mentioned flashes outside his window and Hunter was like 😰📷 talking bout Penpal I was WIDE awake again. Wish me luck gettin back to sleep guys😔
This story was very LongLegs to me. Take that how you will.
2:24:05 - Hunter controls fire
Oh my god chaud and froide are French for hot and cold…
Idk why the didn't pick up on the fact that it was a supernatural story like I got that vibe pretty quickly into the story😭
Can we please get Harry a mic if he’s talking? I cannot make out a word that man says 😭😭😭
nearly 2 hours in and this might be my favorite episode! this shits so good, not too many tangents, no crazy voices and a really good story
Hope Hunter is doing well with lil Cornsweat
Does anyone think the author could have intended to try and portray the real perpetrator as the son of Timmy and Flora? Like the woman in the cabin actually was Flora and they mention that there was a child’s bed in the cabin? That’s where my mind went with the whole no finger prints and no records thing cause he was born in and raised in the woods… still think it’s bad, but could that have been his intention?
oh my god i never wouldve thought of that...jesus. Thank you
The makers of the Gary Plauche shirt are @spade.ink and @punkwithacamera on Instagram! Amazing illustrator, they have other great stuff on their site as well. Someone may have already commented, but just in case.
i have the same sentiments as they do about the story but i am a little surprised they didn't bring up that the woman in the cabin was probably flora (?) and the story from "mom" about chawed froy stumbling into an old man in the woods before he went into town to meet timmy
He siiiiiinnnnnnnngggggg he’s a phenomenal cat 🥲 such a beautiful phenomenal cat
There’s a Korean movie that would make you guys lose your shit on Amazon called Bedeviled it is a heart wrenching movie. Watch at your own risk
Now you guys have to read “esther” by Jared roberts. It’s a little shorter (maybe grab bag episode) but the same style of horror
Gary Plauché is who Isaiah is talking about an Hour into the episode, and He pleaded no contest to manslaughter and got off with only 5 years probation 👏👏👏
When I was young my grandma lived up the road from where Elizabeth Smart lived. When she got kidnapped everyone got very obsessed with stranger danger. It was routinely hammered into my head to scream if a stranger grabs me. Well, that shit traumatized me so deeply that when my sister was born I was convinced she was going to be kidnapped in the middle of the night so I would stay awake at night and sneak into my moms room all night long to check that my sister was still there. I was terrified of seeing someone standing in the window too. I was like 6.
Only halfway through but we might have another penpal on our hands!!! This is awesome
No one else thought they read this story before? I could swear I already heard it. You don't forget a name like Timmy Jean.
Grew up in eastern Kentucky. I got very similar stories from my grandfather about terrible people just going missing. So I can confirm thats true.
This was a really excellent story, and it captivated me more than a lot of the recent ones they’ve read. That being said it fell off at the end, like a lot of stories unfortunately do. If the author wanted to introduce this supernatural aspect, it needed to be in there much earlier. I wondered if that cabin was going to come back again, seeing as it said Chawed had a “really bad” time there, but throwing it in at the very end made the story feel muddied. It is very difficult to do a last minute huge reveal like that and actually stick the landing. Plus, the reveal just left us with more questions. Either way, it was a good story! I enjoyed watching.
Yess I need more story recommendations that are akin to penpal!! Something about stalking/ stalkers is so terrifying to me, way more than monsters or serial killers.
Isaiah goes on to describe why this storys sections being relevant to the characters traumas burying it as if penpal doesnt have that exact same excuse
when are they gonna talk abt tommy taffy getting a movie
They mentioned it in the original video that a movie was reportedly in production
For the ending. I don’t think it’s supernatural being. I feel like the author was making it as the doctor guy was making these “Timmy” characters. Flora could also be the woman in the house with the doctor guy. The doctor could be from the original hospital that the mentally ill man came from. The “bad thing” that happened to him could have been experiments to turn him into what he became.
well thank god the author explained it at the end i was just about to think for myself
So glad they’re finally covering pen pal pt 2 lmfao I remember listening to this from no sleep right after listening to pen pals and hoping creepcast would cover it my prayers have been answered 🙏🙏
The charges were dropped against the pedophile killing dad if my memory is correct.
Dead pedophiles don't re-offend.
Talk to em twin
Im not surprised the cabin came up near the end, it got mentioned by the 'Mom' about the crazy man finding it and saying it was full of evil or whatever tf but man that was a pretty mediocre ending
One of my dads best friends and close family friend is a pedo. Went to jail twice for stuff involving little boys. I have no idea why he isn’t in prison. I didn’t find out any of that until I was 19 years old, and the worst part was this guy was my baby sitter until I was 6 years old and my dad knew the whole time
They should read the smiling man, since they were talking about creepy men dead sprinting
Please mic up the crew
Bro I swear they’ve read this before it sounds so familiar but I never read no sleep stories before and this is all I really watch
I’d appreciate a crew mic for irl eps
That bookstore story is just a smiling friends bit
Take a shot every time Hunter says vignette during a creepcast episode.
Is this story not created by the same author that made the solo story Hunter covered about the sexy neighbor? If so, when you look at the ending with that context, it could show that the entity from the neighbor story, was the same creature that abducted Flora.
Worlds longest dan hentschel bit
Another episode another day scrolling through 50 comments to find any actual discussion on the episode.
Yeah
READ INFECTED TOWN
I’ll write your prisoners fic dad
If anyone has seen the live action beauty and the beast, Hunter would absolutely KILL the solo song the beast has in that one
I want to recommend "The Northern Caves" due to it being such a good descent into madness and a cognitohazard esque story like the King in Yellow. But I have a feeling it will break their brains and also upset the audience due to the "difficult" vocabulary and writing style. They could probably handle the reading, but it really needs a few moments to take a break and evaluate wtf is going on.
Boys - im working on a prisoners style story that i am hoping to upload to talesfromthecreeps at some point soon. would love to get it on the show!
Get Harry a mic, we love when he chimes in.
And maybe a HarryCam
I know these episodes were recorded forever ago, but for gods sake give Harry a mic
Played my fiancé the phenomenal cat clip with tears in my eyes and he said I was being too autistic again
Dads sister’s first name first name flora last name bama… I’m so sorry
Honestly they were a little too harsh on the story. There were mistakes but the supernatural elements were always there. 7 was just heavy handed with it cause to me the story was fun and fascinating that it was riding that line. Was he just schizo was the house real. I think making the hikers less coherent and more unreliable would've been better. Cause having such a coherent story pushing it hard to the supernatural was kinda eh. Same with taking timmy out and inserting this doppleganger. Cause it's just creepy to imagine this old man that corrupted this child potentially passing on supernatural things or even just a piece of his insanity. So the story is ok I think they're too harsh on part 7 tho
I would prefer if we skipped the entire first 4 parts, and then took off from "my dad knew this weird kid who was obsessed with him growing up" and THEN involved the cabin as a real setting. So tommy would be the man in the cabin, who killed the mom, and also kidnapped the sister. But then again...I guess that's a lot like penpal.
yall should make an episode reviewing previous episodes with what makes them good and what makes them bad
This one was SICK. Definitely Penpal-y, I loved it. Didn’t hate Part 7, but the mystery Cabin was real odd…
Hey guys! Here’s a reupload of the lost episode mentioned. It’s worth the watch if you haven’t seen it https://youtu.be/Iln2ZDCYciU?is=GdIGJK04W1Qo-GHE
the boys should watch “the secret in their eyes”, getting heavy vibes of that movie so far before i’m done
The story lost me entirely once he said the man wasn’t Timmy. It felt like such a forced “gotcha” plot-twist moment that just wasn’t hinted towards at all. Ruined the story for me
GARY PLAUCHE MENTION LETS GOOOOO
This might be a stretch (I haven’t finished the story so idk if it’s explained) but maybe the reason for the peanut sugar sandwich was so that flora would get a sugar crash and stay asleep longer so he could do whatever he wanted.
I just saw the Gary Plauché shirt they are talking about. I believe it says "How to Catch a Predator" and was illustrated by the artist Spade Ink. Punk With A Camera screen prints them and a ton of other designs like that.
Harry needs a mic!!!
Uhhhh fuuuggggghhhh
Gonna be honest a good portion of this feels like the protagonist uncovering the back story of Freddy Kreuger
No author has scared me like this in some Moments... His writing Style sends chills down my spine everytime
One of the best stories this year
You must read the other part of the glenmont metro station .
People taking a knife, or a bat, or a machete over a gun is the silliest thing on the planet
Seven inches Check In
Anyone else having audio issues? There's like a bunch of fuzzy audio disturbance, like a radio on a dead channel 😆
hunter is such a beautiful singer
Oh boy, I hope I don’t get so upset that I become nauseous like with PenPal and Borasca
19 lonely boys who need validation by stealing it from women, spamming comments!
Someone tell me they did the audio..... It hurts 🤕
Loved this story! Though I liked the end of part 6 but part 7? Ehhhh so I'll pretend 6 was the end
The Can Man LIVES!!!!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️
Jesus man
"One time when I was 8..." "oh boy." Was so much like how hunter responds anytime nick says "this one time..." and Hunter gets that 1000 yard gleam in his eye
I feel like the dad and uncle are setting the kid up…. The dad just allows some guy onto his job site, and right next to his son with “no idea” who he is? Yeah, that’s not happening.
20:32 or if it turns into that Hugh Jackman film “Wolverine Origins” and it’s a pedo, but he has a healing factor and an indestructible skeleton…. Was this story on #nosleep?
Idk if I’d call Prisoners a “hidden gem” just because I don’t think it’s necessarily niche but it is such an under appreciated film. Genuinely near the top of my list favorites
“Phenomenal Cat” is great sure. But it’s no “Fairy Queen.”
I don't mind Harry interjecting into the episodes, but can we get him a mic? He's so hard to hear.
I remember listening to this story a few years ago, but man was it way darker than I remembered. Such a great, creepy idea that developed beautifully. If part 7 had just been, "I'm processing everything that happened. One thing I know for sure: the cops said the man they have in custody isn't Timmy. The End."
This was posted before , no? I’m having deja vu
Thanks for hanging out with me on my Monday morning : )
Isaiah not mentioning that it was raining to BEAT HELL in the Ice Cream Man Review video like come on lol
The person off mic seems to be speaking more and more in episodes which is great, I love the additional commentary, but I need need need them to mic him up, please. It drives me crazy that I can barely hear him
yea Harry needs a producers mic. i can barely hear him so i turn it up and then Hunter and Isaiah start speaking and it’s so loud
The protagonist really needed to stop trusting any phone calls after the reveal about his mother. In person meetings only after that point.
I cannot believe I forgot Phenomenal Cat. Now I can’t stop rewinding.
My 12 year old was like, "his daughter's name isn't Tonka?" Lol
Penpal or borosca should be the re read, if you do another one. They’ve been top 10 since the first 10 episodes.
My dad told me things…
I agree with the boys about the last part. It felt bit forced like borrasca 5, but otherwise it was very cool story 🫡
Holy Shit!! I just have to add this, because I just got the biggest scare I've ever had watching a creepcast episode. The story just ended, it's 3 AM, and I'm the only one home, when my dog leaps off my bed as I hear what sounded like thudding footsteps, getting increasingly louder like someone was running down the hallway towards my room! My heart just about exploded, I grabbed a knife and threw open my door, and took me a second to realize it was my washing machine, starting the spin cycle, and was off balance. I immediately had to write this comment, my heart is still pumping. Damn.
My girlfriend and I watched Prisoners last night and we thought it was garbage lol don't get why they were glazing it at all 😂
10:31 you know when the sound tracks like that your in for a treat lmao
Penpal was poop
Punk with a camera released a sick Gary Plauche shirt too
For those curious garry got zero time in prison he was given 200 hrs of more community service (.direct quote form the judge
This story was good enough that I can forgive the ending
I have no memory of phenomenal cat for some reason
I have been waiting for you guys to read this one!
Hey Guys Wow what can you say about this story. When you have powerhouse storeys like this on it really goes to show just how spooky these pastas can be! I really liked Hunters revelation that he too uses a sling and rock as a home defence system. I guess this really goes to show that the classics are still so respected and I thjnk Oscar is really going to appreciate this. I give this my OSCAR PICK and 5 bags of popcorn with a little secret peep-hole so that you can watch all the incoming creepy pastas
Y’all talking about Penpal at the beginning of this ep made me have to pause this one and go relisten to that one first
Oml its 3 hours, blessed be
Why Gary Why!!!
1000% agree with mutilating. I like the way you guys think.
What a crazy fucking episode, it was really good but holy shit
Tommy taffy should have been a prisoner style story.
Harry clocking the similarity of the sound of schadenfreude! I heard it immediately when they first said the name
LETS GOOOOOO. it's Monday morning. I got 5 hours left and there's 3 hours here. I'm gonna enjoy the night working at a gastation
Please teach us how you are not the most anxious adult on the planet. Lots of us need help
Nobody ever knows about District 9 when I talk about it but the amount of times Hunter brings it up makes up for every person who doesn’t know it
Did anyone connect the man in the woods that ran at the kids and the guy that was arrested at the end? I assume that’s what they are trying to correlate? It gives the vibe of a skinwalker type entity that maybe observed Timmy and the old man and picked up those obsessive behaviors. Idk I might have to re listen cause I was so hooked and now I’m just confused
Gary Plauche mentioned!!!
2:19:00 Daniel LaPlante?
My prediction after hearing about Timmy’s backwards walk dance is that he’s the child of floras creep and is the protagonists creep
I would love to see them read and react to Hell Radio. Its an oldie and campy and my memory tells me it was great but it’s old
It’s obvious you guys don’t care, but just incase your eyes fell out, this thumbnail is super obviously AI generated. Just look at the weathered part of the wallpaper near the hand, the lines don’t match at all, because the generative AI forgot consistency for non connected lines that should have implied connectivity.
The guy who makes their thumbnails is TKDesignzs on insta. So probably not AI given that he also will show parts of his process. They’ve also both spoken out (as recently as the ice cream man review) that generative AI use is not something they support. They’ve also spoken about it on their individual platforms.
Personally I thought part 7 was fine, I think the story would have been better without it but it didn't feel forced like Isaiah was saying. I'm guessing mostly it was to give closure to the mention of the cabin in the story about the sanitarium guy, which I was definitely wondering about. I'm also still wondering about the note on the door in the first part, I don't think we ever got an explanation for how the guy knew the dad was going to that house if he went by complete accident
It were better for him that a millstone were hung about his neck and he cast into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.
god does harry have perfect memory or something lmaoo
Am I the only one who kinda misses the YouTube comments.. like I'm in top tier cast creeping but idk..
Its allll just 'who up creepin' '7 ______ check in' or just edited pics of them
ready to get touched
Part 7 was unnecessesary. I think the story gave quite enough for us to put the pieces together, and then there's a whole detailed explanation about questions I didn't have? The story was good, except for part 7. But I think maybe an end-of-story analysis was typical of creepypastas of the time, idk.
It did lean into some supernatural quite a bit (hint wise) i think if he wanted to go that route he should have leaned more into it, instead of a info dump at the end.
I've never listened to the ramones. I am 40 years old and have heard a plentiful amount of music I believe. Not everyone follows the same path.
Ok, I think chapter 7 is completely unnecessary. They hikers could maybe have just found a girls bones in a creepy abandoned abandoned cabin. If they had to have it, in my mind, a non-supernatural route could be that Timmy came across the creep in the cabin. They are fairly kindred spirits and kinda ‘team up’ so to speak. (Presuming he is also the man that ran backwards and screamed at them to get out of the forest). The unknown person that was arrested is another of their victims that they had kidnapped and Stockholmed. Timmys obsession is still his driving factor but he is also using other victims to enact his obsession.
It always feels like xmas when we get these longer eps
“Church folks sus” -Isaiah
Days since Wendigoon finishes a sentence with “and stuff like that” “and things like that” 0
When Hunter tells that fishing story, he says nothing bad happened. Then I remember he also thought his grandpa shooting his dog was an accident... Just a thought.
I’m about half way through and holy shit we’re blessed this week- I’ve listened to pen pal twice just to feel something and this is doing it for me🤣
Super good story. Even though the end recap shed light on a few things, I definitely could have done without it.
Only about 35 mins in. I could swear there was an urban legend/sleepover story akin to Humans Can Lick Too about lightning flashes being a pedo’s camera but it was in the closet too
It’s my birthday! New creepcast is my favorite bday present this year!!
2 hour point bear trap, they killed Timmy's dad and now Timmy is harassing the MC Edit: it was not Timmy's dad
Is anyone else getting a radio static noise around 22 minutes?
Sometimes when I listen to these stories I wonder what my abuser was looking for
At this point i think Wendigoon is soft launching tuberculoses like arthur morgan with allat coughing
Wait which episode had the Can-Man that got taken down? For the life of me I cannot remember.
Fun story. Agree with you guys on the final chapter, jumped the shark but before that it was a lot of fun. Love seeing you guys get excited for a story.
Can’t wait for the movie specific podcast
I really love these long episodes 😚
They finally did the story!🙏🏻
Matthew 18:6 “If any of you cause one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for you if a great millstone were fastened around your neck and you were drowned in the depth of the sea." - very important distinction that Jesus isn't talking about harming children, unless you think it is a sin to be harmed.
Phew, thank god fun dad is back
Get Harry a Microphone Please
Gary Plauché was the guy who shot his child's abuser on live TV. He served NO jailtime, 300 hours of community service, and 5 years probation. My grandparents lived in the same neighborhood as him and he talked about the shooting at the local bar frequently saying he regretting absolutely nothing. Fucking legend
Very glad you guys got around to this one. Jared Roberts (nazisharks) is very good at chilling vignettes and mystery. I personally like that his stories don’t offer clean explanations. It’s a theme a lot of his stories follow. What’s more haunting than never being able to truly understand what happened or why, and not being able to trust your own memories?
His story “Sunburn” does serve as an explanation for a lot of the paradoxical elements in his other stories. That one gets so strange it becomes comical, but it’s one of my favorites.
Is it me or is there another story that’s really similar to this. Where the guy’s mom is fake and the stalker stays under his bed.
Gary ploche (the phone booth guy who shot the family friend who was his sons karate instructor that kidnapped his son)never went to prison. He only got parole
THEY MENTIONED THE LOST EPISODE
Overall story has been great and not to yuck someones yum. But “someone very still suddenly starts running full sprint” for me is a trope as tired as “a smile too wide.”
1:09:00 the shirt is made by PUNKWITHACAMERA.COM It says 'HOW TO CATCH A PREDATOR.'
You know, we're going to need another movie review when the Tommy Taffy movie releases.
phenomenal cat that also sings check in!!!
Clocking in at 52 minutes to guess that the Shad Freud the sister was making a sandwich and photo for is her mispronouncing Schadenfreude. Definition: Schadenfreude is the experience of pleasure, joy, or satisfaction derived from learning about the troubles, failures, pain, or humiliation of another person. Just a guess we shall see!
Penpal 1.5
Day 26 of asking the boys to add Myrtle Beach to their next tour 🤓
"ive never been a BIG HUNTER" yes bro yes
first creep cast story i already knew about before they read it, other than the stairs in the woods and all the scp episodes lol
yayyyyy it’s Pen Pal’s weird cousin!!! Love this story so so much, super happy y’all read it🧡 spoilers belowww Personal theory regarding the ending: I think the guy who killed Francis/Dad is a tulpa-esque entity that Timmy made somehow (considering how said dude has no records of any kind). house in the woods is a Black Lodge sort of place. Lynchian moment
My lips are ready.
Dang this one started off so good...I agree part 7 is totally unnecessary
A little more than halfways through and I have been getting some serious Freddy Krueger vibes. Love it
Horror creators try not to use schizophrenics as the crazed murderer villain trope challenge: impossible
41:30 Hunter, bud, you’ve always been big 😭😭
What episode was taken down, was it the cop getting called to the empty house
Just finished a 12 hr shift, very glad to be cozy back in bed creeping my cast
Hunters voice is so angelic and I’m not even joking
this is all i have now
Checked the YouTube video to compare; the audio on Patreon, from like 21:30 to 28:30, is a bit messed up. Seems like the first, like 20 minutes, aren't even in the YouTube video so at least we know for sure that we're getting some good extra "two dads hanging out" content
I do agree that the last part does fall flat. However, I do believe the man that was caught is either Timmy or Chad's kid that they had with Flora. Flora's body was never found, there's pics of her in a cabin, and then the woman seen at the cabin in Part 7. I believe that Woman is supposed to be Flora who Timmy kept alive all these years and either Chad did something with her before or probably Timmy did but Flora would then give birth to a child who would be raised in the woods by Timmy and Flora. Who did grew up somewhat feral and learning of how Timmy's life was ruined by OP's dad so the feral child would also learn the same hatred Timmy had. Perhaps thats how the last line the creep found at OP's Dad's house would still be true or make sense. If that is all the case, I still think Part 7 doesn't do well because the execution of the reveal that Flora was still alive and the creep is actually this feral child who mimics people is not executed well enough so the original idea of the creep being Timmy is way better.
Jesus did say that about anyone who harms an innocent child. And he meant in many ways
Wait, what was the name of the episode that got taken down?? What are we missing?? 😱
I'm A Cop & I Keep Getting Called To The Same House Creep Cast There's a reupload on YouTube. The can man story is pretty good, enjoy!
Ngl I just finished watching and I have no idea what happened in this story at all. Literally could not explain it if you asked me to even though there was an exposition dump. Also it felt like a worse copy of Penpals.
is it me or does wendis hair look like a wig
When I was a kid there was a woman at our church that tried to kidnap a little boy. She was confronted and ran outside got in her car and peeled out, my dad was a cop at the time and he chased her and blocked her held her there until the local police arrived to take her.
After weeks of suggesting this I feel so so seen! Thanks boys 🥹🫶
The kid was moon walking and singing MJ covers early.
Anyone know what episode they were referring too that got taken down?? 🤔
I'm A Cop & I Keep Getting Called To The Same House Creep Cast There's a reupload on YouTube. The can man story is pretty good, enjoy!
It’s been a long time since I was creeped out by a story. I do agree that Part 7 didn’t work very well and I think the story raised questions about gender and what we find natural which it didn’t elaborate on (although perhaps it didn’t need to). Also: is it that the taps in Quebec are labelled “chaud” (hot) and “froid” (cold), perhaps describing the imbalance of feelings of Mr Chawed Froy?
the pov character is really just struggling to put it together oml
Am I the only one hearing the static in the background? Sounds like they filmed this by the ocean
Wendi’s dad killed that man
Y'all should read the Rizzer of North Ohio sreet. I think it's called
I like this author but of the stories they've read of his on here it does seem he likes having strange surreal endings.
part 7? what do you mean part 7? The story only has 6 parts.
I distinctly remember the can-man story but didn’t realize that episode was taken down. Does anyone know what story that was?
I think it’s “I’m a cop, and I keep getting called to the same address”!
HAUNTING !!!! 10/10
Gary Plauche didn't serve any time for killing the child molester, Judge said something along the lines of, he's not a danger to anyone and it wouldn't teach him anything
Based
wait reupload the mr beans story to patreon
Currently recovering from surgery and I’ve been itching to get my cast creeped 🥵
Tarantino did retract his statement about Paul Dano tbf
First time in a while a story has really freaked me out
What episode guy cut that had the OG Can Man story?
Im a cop and i keep getting called to the same house. It got reuploaded on youtube
Very dad stories recently
Is this a reupload?
John Baptiste, who is that man? 6:47
Gary Plauché he did community service, suspended sentence, and probation. He plead guilty to manslaughter and served no time. Not sure if you had a graphic saying that since I was just listening.
I’m creeped guys I’m totally creeped
Post 63 of asking that I would really love to see yalls spin on reading "I'm a Guard Stationed at a secret government prison" https://www.reddit.com/r/nosleep/comments/cr0lna/im_a_guard_stationed_at_a_secret_government/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
That's actually a pretty cool story, I know another one too, "no more milk, by order of the national guard"
Whew a nice palate cleanser from the last video😭❤️
I love Sundays
3.5 hours?! Woooo! 🤘
This seems to be a good story but it is driving me crazy that they still trust phone calls after everything they've been through.
Are they talking about the acab episode? Someone archived it so it’s out there
It was Gary plauche who shot the chomo karate teacher, he's dead now but he got off with like 6 months community service and it either was someone in court or his son much later argued that shooting the pedo should count as community service
So fwiggin floppy..
There more good ones out there The impossible one My best friend lived in an alternate dimension for 7 years Infected town case files Bonesaw vic cryptozoological gardens Humper monkeys ghost story My tiny town got put on lock down We discovered a new island in the Pacific. I want them to read these so bad
why does this story sound so familiar. did Davis Morgan read this one?
Ya, the second they mentioned the lights i had to double check. Love davis morgan. Id be down for him to be a guest lol
I haven't finished the whole episode yet, but so far this feels way too similar to Freddy Krueger
And thinking about it too, the part where the girl was talking through the sink felt reminiscent of Stephen king's it. I think this story mightve taken inspiration from some of the movies
3+ hour stories make my cast creep
The Schadenfreude connection is sooo good.
Pls reapply with your best gif:s I found the copy image feature😈
Yall blessed up thank u
Up creepin til I cast
What the video with the phenomenal cat singing called

The Eyes of My Mother mentioned!!! What a banger of a movie
Mythical refresh considering I’m sitting in the ER rn
Wendigoon certified ZYN fiend
Finally another long video!🙏 gonna be creeping it all day
Sigh I'm on it: schadenfreude is one of those lovely words English simply doesn't have an equivalent to. But REALLY should. It's not as dark as "joy from another's misery" (though directly*yes means that in translation) It's more....laughing when someone falls over. Or some insufferable person at the store slamming into a glass door when storming out after a tantrum. Orrrrr that one techdouche you hate losing all his bitcoin after telling you your an idiot for not jumping on-board. Just....misfortunes that are funny. So it's not an EVIL feeling.....it's a great human one tho lol.
Weird how a German word describes something that is an essential aspect of British culture
Can we get a cough counter?
I love this author let’s go!! Hidden webpage is top 5 for me
Watching them walking backwards shivering and yelping is EXACTLY. Why I pay $5 a month😤😤😤

Unexpected benefit of moving from Australia to Ireland: getting episodes on Sunday instead of Monday 💃
Peak Prisoners referenced 🙏🏻
perfect for my 8hr shift… pedo story….
Oh we know of the Can Man…we know
I think my grandfather might be a serial killer is a little tortury. Turns into a very odd funny story
The story they're talking about at roughly an hour is Gary Plauché, (he's the hero in that story, not the diddler), and he only got five years probation and passed away in 2014.
Yesssss
Long story i am hoping for it to be scary
What episode got taken down with the can man??
I think it was called something like I'm a cop and I keep getting called to the same address or something similar
Hunter’s bear trap at 30 mins was so good

Give us the Ice Cream Man Hour Cut!
Listening as I work on a 1000 piece parrot puzzle 😍
creepin all night and day
What is that weird noise in the background, static?
I agree penpal is probably the best story you've read. I just finished the novel a couple weeks ago. Even better than the creepypasta. It was so good I'm currently reading his other novel "bad man." I highly recommend it
Bad Man is genuinely one of the worst books I've read in the last decade and made me angry I wasted money and time on ut, enjoy
Seven spears of ashina check in
I watched lovely bones in the theater when it came out. I was freaked out because it took place in the town over from where I was watching it.
I own a lawncare business and have listened to every episode at least 4 times. Love it
I listen to this while I bake donuts for a donut shop lol
The audio from some point I'm not going back to find up until 28:38ish is fucked, sounds like someone's blowing down your mics.
thank you for mentionning it its driving me crazy
Hunter sounds like Hugh Jackman when singing phenomenal Cat in the greatest showman😭
Work boutta go crazy tomorrow
I’m getting some exterme Déjà vu
My sis is doing her doctorate dissertation (psychology) in treatment for minor attracted persons to prevent offenses and there is the option of chemical castration. Idk how effective it is but it is definitely an intriguing option and could also help stop re offense and vigilante justice
Ah yes, the "we have penpal at home" story

They’re right about penpal being their jumping off point I watched that episode in one sitting on a road trip 2 years ago and I haven’t missed an episode since
Why is it that anytime something is set aside for women the men still wanna find a way to include themselves. We're called the 7 sisters because the fanbase is majorly men.
And now the main representative is someone sexualizing themselves
Maybe I should make my profile a gif of me twerking so I can farm interractions on Patreon 😭
Purely seeing as we gonna be around for a while, and I know to know of the bouncy butt... What would the benefit be? Legit curious lol farming patreon interaction for what? The love of the game? 😅💀
