Have you ever heard of Stull Cemetery and the "Gate to Hell" there? Being from Emporia myself, high schoolers and college kids would always make a trip to it in the fall. There's also a bridge near Emporia locally known as "Bird Bridge", after Pastor Bird and his church secretary both killed their spouses so they could be together. Emporia was also the town that the murders from the "In Cold Blood" case stopped to buy their supplies before going on to murder the Clutter family. Just a couple of haunted spots within a 2 hour drive of KC
