Hi there, and welcome to my Patreon!
My name is Ivan and I am actively building a new app called Forgeron. It's a native, mobile-first client for FoundryVTT.
The goal of this account is to be able to post updates, collect feedback, and slowly roll out Alpha and Beta releases to testers. I actually have no clue how this thing works so please bear with me as I figure it out.
You absolutely do not have to pay to get updates. Feel free to join the free tier to be notified when the app comes out (and of anything important in between). If you don't want to wait, you can join a premium tier to get access to the Alpha builds as I'm putting together new features.
Hopefully, this is the start of something great, I am incredibly excited about this project and with some luck you are too!

Hi there! My apologies, despite my name I do not speak Russian... Thanks for the kind words, as of right now the app will default to English but I do plan to add support for your FoundryVTT language packs very soon!

This looks super exciting! If I back at a premium tier, would I be able to share the playtest with players? I'm looking to run on StartPlaying.Games and have one 5e Foundry game at the moment.
Hi there! For now the tiers are for one user only. I'm working on a way to share a subscriptions with multiple players
I'd also lean toward something like "Foundry Companion". If you wanted to get cuter with it and lean into the whole Foundry/Blacksmith thing, maybe something like "Foundry VTT Journeyman" (like a journeyman blacksmith plus it kinda captures the "mobile" element)
Hi Ivan! Your app looks amazing ans I'm really excited to use it! Additionaly, here is my idea to name the app: "Tinker". The name "Tinker" is inspired by the historical figure of the tinker, who traveled from town to town repairing metal items. This evokes the mobile and portable nature of the application. Additionally, while a tinker works with metals like a foundry, they do so on a smaller scale, much like how a mobile app offers the functionality of FoundryVTT in a more portable and accessible format. The name captures the essence of craftsmanship, mobility, and the spirit of FoundryVTT.
I am so excited to use this for my in person games! Definitely willing to pay for this once it's got some more of those planned features
