How to Link Your Patreon and Discord Accounts to Claim Perks
Thank you for supporting me on Patreon! If your membership tier includes exclusive Discord perks, such as special roles or access to private channels, you’ll need to link your Patreon and Discord accounts. Follow these simple steps to connect your accounts and claim your rewards.
Prerequisites
Ensure you have an active Patreon pledge to a tier that includes Discord perks. Check the tier description on my Patreon page for the Discord logo and “Includes Discord Rewards” text.
Have a Discord account. If you don’t have one, visit discord.com to create a free account.
Step-by-Step Guide
Log in to Your Patreon Account
Go to patreon.com and log in with your Patreon credentials.
Navigate to Connected Apps
Click on your profile picture in the top-right corner to open the menu.
Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
In the left-hand menu, click More (if visible), then select Connected Apps.
Connect Your Discord Account
Under App Integrations, find Discord and click the Connect button.
A pop-up window will appear, prompting you to log in to Discord.
Enter the email address or phone number associated with your Discord account, along with your password, and click Login.
Click Authorize to allow Patreon to connect to your Discord account.
Note: If the pop-up doesn’t appear, disable any ad blockers or browser extensions that might block pop-ups, then try again.
Join the Discord Server
Once connected, your eligible Discord servers will appear on the Connected Apps page under Discord.
Click the Join Server button next to my server to gain access.
You’ll automatically be assigned the Discord role(s) corresponding to your Patreon tier, granting you access to exclusive channels or perks.
Verify Your Role
Open Discord and check that you’ve been added to my server with the correct role.
If you don’t see the server or role, wait a few minutes, as it may take time to sync. You can also try refreshing Discord.
Troubleshooting Tips
Wrong Role or No Access?
Ensure you’re pledged to the correct Patreon tier that includes Discord perks. Visit my Patreon page, go to the Membership tab, and check your tier description for the Discord logo.
If the role is incorrect, message me directly on Patreon to confirm your tier and role setup.
Still Having Issues?
Disconnect and reconnect your Discord account:
Go to Settings > Connected Apps on Patreon.
Click Disconnect next to Discord.
Log out of Discord, clear your browser’s cache and cookies, and log back in.
Repeat the connection steps above.
Ensure you’re using the same Discord account you linked to Patreon.
If you’ve joined over 100 Discord servers, you may need to leave one or upgrade to Discord Nitro to join mine.

Important Notes
Your Discord perks depend on your active Patreon membership. If your payment declines or you cancel your pledge, you’ll lose access to the associated Discord roles.
