"You Can Stay If You Want"

The first thing David noticed about Hana wasn't the way she filled a doorframe. It was the lipstick.

Cherry red. Perfectly applied. The kind of precise, careful detail that seemed almost absurd given everything else about her. He'd met her at a friend's housewarming, she'd been sitting cross-legged on the kitchen floor playing with the host's cat, laughing at the way it batted at her braid. She was sweet. Disarmingly sweet. She asked him about his job with genuine interest, remembered his coffee order by the second hangout, and texted him photos of every stray cat she encountered on her evening walks.

It took three weeks of casual dates before he saw her without a hoodie.

Now he was sitting on the edge of her bed, jacket still on, watching her settle onto the mattress across from him after changing out of her restaurant clothes. She knelt on the white sheets and tilted her head, that familiar almost-shy smile pulling at her red lips, her amber eyes catching the warm lamplight.

And he simply could not think.

Her traps rose on either side of her neck like foothills, thick cords of muscle that started behind her ears and swept outward, merging with shoulders so dense and round they looked carved from stone. The muscle didn't taper — it stacked. Layer upon layer. Her delts were striated into distinct heads, each one flexing subtly even at rest as she shifted her weight on the bed. Veins traced paths across them like rivers on a relief map.

Her pecs were enormous. There was no other word. They hung with sheer mass, two broad slabs of striated muscle that pressed together at the centerline, a deep vertical channel running between them. Every visible fiber seemed etched into the surface. Veins wandered across the upper portion of each pec, branching and splitting, catching shadows. The muscle was so thick it created shelves, the lower edges casting faint shadows onto the wall of her abdomen below.

And that abdomen. David had seen six-packs. He'd seen stage-ready bodybuilders on screens. Hana's midsection wasn't a six-pack — it was an eight-pack, maybe more, each block of her abs separated by deep grooves that looked as though they'd been chiseled with intent. The obliques at her sides were tight, angled ridges, wrapping around her torso like armor plating. Veins ran diagonally across the lower portion of her stomach, feeding into the dense network that covered her entire body. Her serratus muscles — those finger-like bands along the ribs — were individually visible, locking into the intercostals beside them with anatomical precision.

Her quads, folded beneath her as she knelt, were almost frightening in their scale. Even compressed, each thigh was a landscape of teardrops and sweeps, the vastus on the outer edge bulging with mass, the inner heads pressing against each other. Deep separations ran between each quad head, and veins — thick, raised, relentless — traveled their surface in every direction. Her legs looked like they could crack a car frame.

She tilted her head a little further, braid falling over one massive trap.

"You're staring," she said, not accusatory. Almost amused. Her voice was soft.

"I... yeah," David admitted. He didn't have a smooth recovery. He didn't try.

Hana looked down at herself for a moment, at the terrain of her own body. She flexed one hand absently against the sheets, and the motion traveled up her forearm — tendons shifting, veins rearranging themselves over thick brachioradialis muscles — up through her bicep, which bunched and swelled without her even trying, a peak forming and then relaxing.

"I usually keep the hoodie on longer," she said quietly, tucking a strand of dark hair behind her ear. The gesture was delicate. Her fingers were careful, almost dainty. The forearm that performed this simple motion was thicker than most men's thighs, roped with veins and corded with muscle that shifted visibly beneath taut, oil-sheened skin.

"Why?"

She shrugged. The movement was seismic. Her traps surged upward, her pecs shifted and bounced with barely contained mass, and every vein across her upper body seemed to reroute itself. "This is usually where people recalibrate."

David pulled off his jacket. Dropped it on the floor. "I'm good."

She bit her lower lip, red lipstick slightly smudging and something uncertain flickered through those golden eyes. For someone built like a mythological figure, she looked remarkably unsure. She reached forward and took his hand, placing it gently on the surface of her abs. His fingers settled into the deep grooves between the bricks of muscle. It was warm. Hard as countertop granite, but warm, and alive — he could feel each breath expanding the intercostals beneath his palm.

"I made pasta," she said suddenly. "Earlier. There's leftovers if you're hungry."

He laughed. He couldn't help it.

"What?" She looked genuinely confused, that head-tilt again, the braid swinging.

"You just... nothing. You're something else, Hana."

She smiled, slow and real, the red lipstick framing it perfectly. She didn't pull away. She stayed there, kneeling on the white sheets, this impossible architecture of muscle and veins and soft amber eyes, waiting, not demanding, not posing, just present for whatever came next.

"You can stay if you want," she said. "I have extra blankets."

David's hand was still on her abs. He could feel her heartbeat through the muscle.

"Yeah," he said. "I want."

The blankets didn't last long.

Not because of urgency. There was nothing rushed about it. It was Hana who moved first, but even then she hesitated, fingertips hovering over his shirt buttons like she was asking a question she didn't want to say out loud. David answered by pulling the shirt over his head entirely. She exhaled. Not a sigh of relief. Something closer to gratitude.

She was still kneeling on the bed, but her posture had changed. Her head was tilted back now, chin lifted toward the ceiling, lips parted, that red lipstick slightly smeared where she'd bitten her lower lip, and her amber eyes were half-lidded, catching the warm glow of the bedside lamp from below. Her expression wasn't guarded anymore. It was open. Vulnerable, even. The contrast was staggering.

Because from the neck down, she was a monument.

Her pecs were heaving with each slow, deep breath, the two enormous slabs of striated muscle rising and falling in tandem. They pressed together at the midline, the deep cleft between them tightening and loosening with each inhale. Veins crisscrossed the upper surface of each pec like wiring beneath translucent skin, not just a few, but networks, branching and splitting, running laterally toward her delts and downward toward the abs. The striations fanned outward from the center, each individual fiber catching the light separately, giving the muscle a texture like braided cable.

Her arms hung slightly forward at her sides, and even in that passive position they were obscene. Her biceps were full, rounded masses of meat that bunched into peaked hills even without flexing. The veins running over them were as thick as pencils, tracing from her inner elbow, over the bicep peak, and disappearing into her front delts. Her triceps, visible from the front because of their sheer size, hung in thick horseshoe shapes, the lateral and medial heads creating deep shadows against each other. Her forearms were swollen with dense forearm muscle, veins wrapping them in spiraling patterns.

David put his hands on her obliques. She flinched, not from pain, from surprise, then softened into it. The muscle under his palms was extraordinary. Her obliques were carved into angled ridges that ran diagonally from her ribs to her hips, and they contracted visibly at his touch, tightening the already-deep grid of her abs. Eight distinct blocks. The upper rows were thick, squared-off, separated by trenches deep enough to catch shadow. The lower abs were tighter, denser, pulling taut over her hips where the vascularity became almost absurd, veins the width of his pinky running downward and laterally across the lower abdominal wall.

Her serratus muscles were individually separated, interlocking with the obliques like fingers laced together. They flexed with each breath, each tiny expansion of her ribcage making them ripple.

"Don't stop looking at me," she whispered. Her voice cracked on the last word. Not a command. A request. She was still tilted back, throat exposed, the thick columns of her traps framing her neck like flying buttresses. Her traps were sloped walls of dense, veined muscle that connected to her delts in a seamless ridge, with no visible collarbone, just mass, layered and striated.

He traced a line from her obliques up across the bricks of her abs, over the ridgeline of her serratus, and onto the lower edge of one pec. She shuddered. The entire muscle twitched, a cascade of fibers contracting involuntarily, veins shifting position across the surface. Her mouth opened wider, a sharp intake of breath.

"Hana."

"Yeah?" Barely a sound.

"I'm not going anywhere."

She lowered her chin and looked at him. The red eyeshadow was smudged now. Her eyes were glassy. She reached for him, and those massive arms, arms that could bend steel, arms mapped with veins from shoulder to wrist, arms with biceps that swelled into baseballs at the slightest contraction, wrapped around him with a gentleness that felt almost fragile.

She pulled him in, guiding his throbbing cock between her legs and sinking down onto him until he filled her completely. They began to fuck slowly and deeply, her powerful body moving against his as he thrust up into her. He let her set the pace.

The lamp stayed on. She wanted it that way.

Later, much later, she was lying on her side, one arm tucked under the pillow, the other resting on his chest. Her quads, pressed together, were a landscape of teardrops and sweeps even fully relaxed, each head separated by deep valleys, veins still wandering lazily across the surface. Her breathing had slowed. Her braid had come undone entirely, dark hair spilling over the white sheets and across the mountain range of her trap and delt.

"You didn't close your eyes," she said quietly. "The whole time."

"No."

She pressed her face into his shoulder. He felt the curve of her smile against his skin.

"Good," she murmured. Then, softer: "Thank you."

He pulled the blanket over them both, over the ridiculous, impossible, vein-covered topography of her, and she folded into him like she'd been waiting to be small for a very long time.

The lipstick was completely gone now. She didn't seem to mind.
