The Fiery Glassblower
The heat inside the workshop was enough to blister the paint off the walls, a dry, suffocating pressure that made the air shimmy and dance. To anyone else, it was an inferno. To Kaelen, it was just Tuesday.
You stood in the doorway, hesitant to step further into the sweltering heat, your eyes immediately drawn to the center of the room. Kaelen stood before the roaring maw of the main furnace, silhouetted against the violently orange flames. She was a mountain of a woman, a figure forged as much by genetics as by the brutal labor of her craft.
She held a long, iron blowpipe, lifting it with a casual ease that belied its weight. As she raised it to her lips, the movement caused the muscles of her back to bunch and coil like pit vipers beneath the thin, soaked fabric of her white shirt. The material was failing its one job; it was stretched to the absolute limit, turning translucent from the sweat and adhering to every ridge and valley of her impossible physique.
"Close the door," Kaelen grunted, not breaking her focus on the molten bubble at the end of her pipe. Her voice was a deep, resonant alto that cut through the roar of the fire. "You're letting the draft in. Glass hates a draft."
You quickly shut the door, stepping closer.
Kaelen took a deep breath, her massive chest expanding outward, the pectoral muscles pushing aggressively against the green apron straps. As she blew into the pipe, the sheer force required to shape the cooling glass triggered a chain reaction throughout her body. It was a display of hydraulic power. Her biceps, already the size of respectable decorative vases, peaked violently, the skin stretching tight and shiny over the dense muscle fibers.
She paused to rotate the pipe, turning her head to look at you, her teal eyes piercing through the steam. She caught you staring—not at the delicate glass orb, but at the deltoid that was currently dwarfing her own head.
"Heavy?" she asked, a smirk tugging at the corner of her mouth. She held the iron rod out with one hand, arm fully extended—a feat of leverage that should have been impossible. "For you, maybe. For me? It’s just a warm-up."
She curled the pipe back toward the glory hole, the movement causing the veins on her forearms to bulge like garden hoses, creating a roadmap of vascularity that ran all the way up to her neck. Every shift in her stance, every flex of her grip, seemed to pump more blood into the muscles, making them look larger, harder, and more pump-filled by the second. The sleeves of her shirt were rolled up, but the fabric around the armpit was tearing, the seams popping audibly as her lats flared out.
"You know," Kaelen said, looking back at the glass as she began to spin it again, her triceps hanging in a thick, horseshoe-shaped slab of meat. "People come here for the vases. But I notice most of them spend the whole hour watching the gun show instead."
She flexed her free arm, ostensibly to wipe sweat from her brow, but you knew better. The bicep swelled to a comical size, eclipsing her ear, a sphere of hard muscle that glistened in the firelight.
"Don't worry," she chuckled, turning back to the fire, her massive silhouette blocking out the light. "I don't charge extra for the view. Just don't pass out from the heat."
(Been playing around with a 2 step process recently where I make the girls I make in my traditional style but I remove the background and use other software to complement that style. Hope it works out!)
