Cranked Monday Update - October 12, 2026

Yo! Hope you had a good weekend even though Red Bull Rampage was canceled. Here is what the Cranked team is up to this week.

General Updates

• The demo is still going strong. We're at 69 reviews on Steam with a Very Positive rating, and the average playtime is up to 2.5 hours. About 5% of you have put in over 10 hours. That's wild, thank you.

• 9,096 people have played the demo so far.

• Steam Next Fest starts next Monday. If you've got friends who ride, now's a great time to send them the demo.

Here's what we're focusing on this week.

Michael

• Trimming down the data the game sends over the network to keep multiplayer running smoothly.

• Back to work on the rider animations, specifically when it comes to whips and scrubs. We will start implementing the new air physics, which will be a big change from how they are now, so buckle up.

• Once that is done, we want to add four basic tricks: no-hander, no-footed can-can, toboggan, and tabletop. These won't happen this week, but we want to get them in the game sooner than originally planned. Hopefully by early access on December 1.

• Adding a lead foot option in customization so your rider stops with whatever foot forward you select.

Maggie

• Getting last week's environment upgrades into the game. Cleaner rocks, better grass and plants, and some new fallen trees.

• Continued work on the environment, Rad Dog Shop, and more!

Damien

• Finishing up the new Significant Other Ded Reckin bike. Wrapping the model and texturing it so it can hopefully make it into the next build Thursday night.

Joe

• Finishing player profiles so they can ship by the end of the week.

• Fixing bugs from the last build, mostly in downhill mode.

• Setting up a merch section on the website.

Julian

• Cutting edits from the best moments of our recent streams.

• Working on some new content going into Next Fest.

Cedric

• Listening to player feedback on the current trail selection in the demo and using that feedback to improve the trails in the Forest map.
