The teacher scene (the one at the beginning) is bugged; when you fight a trainer, it doesn't matter if you win or lose, the teacher always appears, and therefore it's not possible to access the defeat scene, Similarly, for some reason my moanster's level resets after reaching level 2.
Hi, the teacher scene isn't bugged; I did it that way so you could still access it even if you lost. The first fight is just a test, and you'd almost certainly lose. I'll look into the other thing you mentioned. Thanks for your comment.
