How I Became The Unknown Simmer (the full journey)

I feel like a lot of people just saw me randomly pop out of nowhere but have no idea of my history in the scene. So here’s the background story of how I got here today…

2006-2009 - It all started in primary school… (The Sims 2) My parents didn’t purchase the CD for me, so I would borrow my best friends CD and play at home on my dads PC. It was love at first sight. I loved making up storylines and creating my own characters. So having my own virtual family was just a massive upgrade to my childhood experience! I eventually went on to get my own CD of The Sims 3 but I kinda stopped playing due to secondary school… parents making sure I was studying and not gaming 🙄

2019/2020 - One day during the COVID lockdown, my sister was watching a let’s play on YT. At that point I had no idea what the hell a let’s play even was 🤣, it was just sooo cute to see her watching a game that I grew up playing. I started watching them with her, but I was extremely confused at how the game had changed! I never used any mods/cc when I played, so seeing how realistic the game had gotten was surreal to me. We decided to persuade my mother to buy us The Sims 4 (at that time it wasn’t free). That was the moment my life changed.

At that time there was HARDLY any British representation, there still isn’t now but back then was WORSE. I decided I wanted to create something no one was doing at the time, so started working on a few projects. At that time I went by a different creator name and I had started gaining followers on Twitter and forming connections. I created a Patreon and just started posting. I had a real estate agency with its own mobile app, I created loads of career mods and social interactions. I also dabbled in cc creation (framing images was where I started).

2020 - I started creating my own LP’s , it was so much fun honestly, I loveddd it. It started with me showing my friends and family on Snapchat and then I got the confidence to post on YT. My first ever video has only been seen by my family lol, but I then went on to posting content publicly.

I had A LOT going on in my personal life and it took a real toll on me. I had to stop creating.

2021 - I came back and started making YT videos again, not let’s plays but just other content

2022 - I made “Simstagram”… it’s a DIFFERENT world over there. I mostly did enjoy it, but it just got hard for me to keep up with and I lost interest in it. Also was having another difficult period of my life so I just didn’t have time for it anyway.

2023 - Never stopped playing but just kept it offline.

2024 - Behind the scenes I decided to start learning coding again. I had already learned some stuff in 2020, but I had kinda forgotten parts about it. Also back in 2020 I was heavily Sims focused, but in 2024 it was more about thinking about the future, and tech is genuinely the future. I thought if I could learn coding I would be able to find a job in that field, so I wasn’t actually learning for The Sims 4 specifically but the skills did come in handy later. Everything I learned was all self taught, I watched videos and read materials I could find online.

Sims came into the picture because I was playing the game a lot at the time and again it got to the point where I just couldn’t really relate to what was out there. I wasn’t really interested in making mods at that time, I just wanted to see British cc in my game. My cousin used to call me the Queen of clutter because I had so much clutter in my game lol. One day I just absolutely had enough and decided to make my own cc. At first it was just for me, but then I thought to myself imagine if there’s actually people out there wanting the same things… that’s when I decided, I’m going to be a Sims 4 content creator.

2025 - I bought a new laptop, I got serious, I rebranded, started posting again, and I’ve not looked back since. Got active on YouTube and TikTok but I was struggling to keep up with trying to create cc and also be a YouTuber simultaneously. So I chose cc because I enjoyed it more.

2026 - Here I am posting cc on a weekly basis, creating new mod ideas and making your games more British 🇬🇧😂🤪💕

It’s actually crazy to think that something I fell in love with as a little girl has become such a big part of my life today. From borrowing my best friend’s Sims 2 to creating things that people can enjoy in their own games?!

I’ve had my ups and downs, disappeared from the community several times but always found my way back 😭. I just deeped it’s been 20 yearssssss of Sims… CRAZY.

I’m genuinely grateful to everyone who’s supported me, whether you’ve been here from the beginning or only discovered me now. Thank you for giving me a reason to keep creating, thank you soooo much for believing in me and supporting me!!

And trust me, I’ve got SO much more in store for you all ❤️

Totally relate to not being able to get the sims from my parents but playing with friends or cousins until I could. My first PC would crash daily but it was my right of passage and I had finally made it 🤣
