✅ What You’ll Need

  • PlayStation 5 (Digital / Disc)

  • Cronus Zen (latest firmware)

  • Official DualSense or DualSense Edge controller

  • High-quality USB-C cable (DualSense → Zen A1)

  • USB cable (Zen → PS5 front port)

  • Internet connection for firmware updates

No PC or Remote Play required!

🧰 Step-by-Step: PS5 Bypass Setup

  1. Enable Bluetooth on PS5
    → Go to Settings → Accessories → General → Bluetooth Accessories.

  2. Pair your DualSense wirelessly
    → PS5 will authenticate it as a trusted controller.

  3. Change Communication Method
    → Settings → Accessories → Controller (General) → Communication Method → “Use USB Cable”.

  4. Put Cronus Zen in idle (Alien Head) mode
    → Plug the Zen into PS5 and wait for the Alien Head icon, then unplug.

  5. Connect DualSense to Zen A1 port (via USB-C)
    → Keep the DualSense paired wirelessly to PS5.

  6. On PS5: go to Settings → Accessories → General → Turn Off Accessories.
    Highlight your DualSense — don’t press ✕ yet.

  7. While the controller is highlighted:

    • Plug Cronus Zen back into PS5 (front port).

    • Hold D-pad RIGHT for 5 seconds until Zen OLED flashes and returns to Alien Head.

    • Release → press ◯ to exit the menu.

✅ You’re done! Zen is now authenticated and fully usable with PS5.

⚠️ Common Mistakes to Avoid

  • Use only the front USB port on PS5 (rear ports may fail auth).

  • Hold D-pad RIGHT for the full 5 seconds.

  • Controller must be both wireless and wired (Bluetooth + USB).

  • Bypass must be re-done after PS5 restart or rest mode — takes ~10 seconds.
