Bruises v6 download (works for both WWE 2K26 or 2K25)

I can finally release my V6.

Some of you might be wondering: "Weren't you on V4? Where did V5 go?"

The main reason this update took so long is simple: I wasn't satisfied with the results. In the end, I scrapped the "cursed" V5 entirely and jumped straight to V6.

This version introduces a completely reworked body damage progression. As the match goes on, bruises evolve naturally from dark purple/black marks into inflamed red injuries. Combined with the game's sweat effect, the later stages can even resemble blood seeping through the swelling.

The screenshots focus on close-up details, which have been heavily refined. In-game, from the normal gameplay camera, the effect looks even better and feels much more natural in motion. Note: Except for the cover image, all screenshots show the damage progression during the same match. Please view them in order to see how the effects evolve over time.

The old speckled effect from previous versions is now completely gone, resulting in a much cleaner and more realistic appearance.

I've used a different texture blending logic this time, to make everything feel different and less repetitive. The result is a richer, more dynamic look than any previous version, especially during the final stages of a fight. At least, this is the result I hope I reached.

Every release of this mod has explored a different visual style. I believe V6 finally achieves the best balance: more dramatic than reality, yet ultimately more believable, with heavier bruising and bleeding that blends seamlessly with the game's blood textures*.

Facial cuts have also been improved, along with several new effects.

As always, feedback and suggestions are welcome. Unless a particularly interesting idea comes up, my next projects will return to weapons and other texture mods.

Installation: Extract the archive and copy the included folder into your game's Mods directory. Everything is already cooked and ready to use.

NOTE: The blood effects visible on the face and chest in the screenshots are not included in this mod. They come from the excellent SMashZ Blood Mod, which is fully compatible with this release and can be installed separately with no manual adjustments required.

So, if you install only my mod, the game will use the original blood effects. This mod does not modify the blood in any way. I’ll post some pics of my mod without extra blood effects later today!
