Blood & Bruises v1 (WWE 2K25)

Why?
Let me be clear—I do have the (wonderful) mod from the more well-known creator who chose to delete it. Fortunately, I kept a backup (don’t ask me for it—I respect their decision and won’t help spread it). I’m not making this to replace that one. I took a different approach with a different effect, something I can keep working on to better suit my own taste.

What?
I decided to create my own take on a blood mod, but with a twist: instead of completely replacing bruises with blood, I focused on making bruises more visible and realistic. The idea was to work on the default bruise maps, enhance them, and add some blood to them. This is just version 1, but as you can see, it works pretty well. In the pics, you can see how the damage builds up during a match: at first, small bruises appear, then they turn more purple and bloody. By the end, they look swollen and dark, especially around the eyes (check out LA Knight’s black eye—it starts red but ends up seriously swollen). I also changed the blood effect on the forehead when someone gets busted open. In the base game, it’s just a single texture, so I had to get creative to avoid that obvious copy-paste look. My version is more gore-ish but not a full-on blood mask. You can still get a deep red look when the blood blends naturally with the bruises on the face. That’s something I’ll keep improving in future versions.

Just download and put the Blood&Bruises_v1_by_Shiryo file in the mod's directory. Play. Leave suggestions.
