I am pleased to report that my parents never criticized me in front of a friend. I have, unfortunately, been present at a parental criticism of a friend of mine. I was compared favorably to my friend, and neither he nor I benefited from it. Oy! I just realized she got Withers' name wrong twice. "Welcome, whatever your name is..."
