I'm in the MarioCube file downloading games, and I noticed 3 versions of the same game. For example, I see Carnival, Carnival (Rev 1), and Carnival (Rev 2). Which version do you recommend downloading? Rev 2?

Silly question maybe but was there any reason you don't recommend Vimms lair for Gamecube/Wii games?

could I have some help trying to run smash bros on my wii. I have split the file, and manually edited the files instead of using the backup manager, but when I plug my usb in three things can happen: the usb be loader crashes, bringing up a crash screen, when you load the game it brings you either to the wii menu or the homebrew menu. The channel appears on the menu, but it is blank but still shows the name of the game.

Im following along with the video but after loading all the apps on the SD card and openimg homebrew nothing shows up even after hitting 1 and selecting the SD slot the homebrew screen is empty

Do you have an alternative to tiny Wii backup manager for chromeOS that’s all I have access to. It’s too old to run the experimental Linux stuff as well :-/

ive got to the point where when i click into the game (mario party 9) the start screen comes up for the game but when i press start the screen goes black. what could be causing this and how can i fix it?

Hi. When I open USB Loader GX it works for 1 or 2 minutes, then I get the Exception (dsi) error message. This happens everytime. Im using an sd card for the apps and external USB for the games. How would i fix this?

I am having a problem with USB loader Gx. When I go into it, all it shows me is a white screen with 2 rounded rectangles with them being on the bottom left and right. The thing is, the usb stick I used is compatible ( it is a PNY 16 gb). I do have one game on it. I don’t know what to do. Also, if there is no USB stick, it just puts all the apps from my home menu to the Wii. I also don’t have preloaded, but I will install it soon. Pls help.

Every time I upload a game to the Tiny Wii Backup Manager, and I take the sd card out of the computer, it deletes the game from the wbfs folder, how do I fix this

my usb gx isn't booting up, it keeps trying to but then kicking me back to the home screen. I also cannot launch my home brew app as it gets stuck on the software must not be sold screen, but I can launch every other app just fine. any recommendations?

I'm having trouble getting my wii to boot up these wii games from myrient. I followed all the steps in the latest guide but it still won't boot. USB is compatible and is formatted as fat32. All games have been downloaded from myrient, unzipped then tossed into Tiny Wii backup manager and then placed onto my USB. The games do pop up on USB loader GX but once I start them it goes to a black screen.

Hi. I am having problems with downloading games onto my wii. wii backup manager does not work even if the files are formatted wbfs. So i formatted the games manually and the games did not show up on the usb gx.

Hey FS47, i was able to get homebrew and everything on my wife's new Wii. Unfortunately I had a black screen when loading the games. I will be getting the games from a different place, but I had a quick question. My USB that I loaded all my games onto is 256GB but the format is limiting it to 32GB, is there a way around that? I see on here and other places that everyone has larger storages but I'm not sure how to format it but stay with the storage size

I just got a jailbroke wii for christmas, it has a 64gig sd card and im seeing from past comment i should buy a new bigger sd instead of deleting the games. Because i wana get different games on it. I am looking at the skylander games on Myrient; there are 2 USA versions of each. Do i chose the "Rev 1" version or the non rev 1 version?

Hey all, I'm a bit of an old lady and I was just wondering where we get the Wii games from to download, I have resurrected my Wii from the loft and managed to get it all set up and to do the Mod hack thanks to Funkyscott47 who has managed to teach an old dog new tricks so thank you.  I just don't have any games is there a website to download from - go easy on me if I'm being stupid (seriously I'm older than your mothers) just any advice would be appreciated - many thanks

Hey FunkyScott, thanks for the previous help. I do however have another problem. You see i only own a smaller sd card. I have downloaded a few games on it and want a few more. I got the games into the sd card and downloaded them on my wii. As you have shown in one of your videos. Is it now possible for me to delete the games from the sd card and download new ones onto it, without damaging the current games on the wii. I have no idea if it is going to affect the downloaded games on the wii.

Wii games are showing up just fine, also do I still need to install the custom OSes because I just had to hard rest my whole wii because I lost my orginal NAND bacukup but have since made a new one

Hi Funkyscott, i see that some other people had problems putting games into the wii backup manager. I took some files/games from your patreon site and they are rvz files. Then you responded: " If they are rvz then you have to use Tiny Wii backup manager" i was just wondering how to do that. You got a video or some kind of guide, please help :(

So I followed the tutorial on playing ps games on Wii. The download link you said to open in the video opened a different looking page. So I downloaded the file and transferred the files to my hardrive as you described. But when I opened up the files there's no isos folder do I create my own. Infact there's a couple of files missing that you show on your tutorial.

Good evening. I've just watched the vid about playing PlayStation games on the Wii. My question is I did the Wii mod tutorial and notice that there are emulators you can download are these ok to use do they work ok. And once downloaded how do you use them. ? Do you just put all your games together on a hard drive and it chooses the emulator for you.

Is Wii MotionPlus required? If it is, does it have to be a Wii Remote with MotionPlus built-in, or is the MotionPlus accessory also acceptable?

I downloaded it, but it’s in RVZ format. I converted it to ISO using Dolphin, and then tried to convert it to WBFS with Wii Backup Manager, but it gets stuck at 0% and doesn’t progress.

Hi so I'm a pensioner just getting in to modding which I find interesting, frustrating and relaxing. So I've modded my wii all was going well even baked up my discs I got a great sense of achievement from this. But then I tried loading a disc tonight it said it was loaded even showed the cover art but when I tried to load it the screen was blank I tried with a couple more discs same result. Mmm so I tried down loading the files again except the homebrew channel and the loader but it doesn't work. So do I need to remove and reload homebrew if yes how. And then start again what do you think. I think I may benefit from a subscription in I'm going to make a hobby out of this. Oh did I mention I recently bought 25 Wii consoles I'm going to mod them hopefully. So any advice would be great. Regards Clive
