Hello! First of all, thank you for creating Desktop Companion! I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this project. It is a wonderful idea, and I’m grateful that you made it available to the community. I would like to suggest adding **TeraTTSv2 as an alternative TTS engine in Desktop Companion**. TeraTTSv2 supports Russian speech and could be a great option for Russian-speaking users. It may also be suitable for lower-end PCs, as it can run on the CPU without requiring a powerful graphics card. It would be great to have the following features: - **Russian language support** for character voices. - **Voice selection** in the existing voice selection menu, allowing users to choose between available Russian voices. - **Speech speed control** compatible with TeraTTSv2. - **An independent pitch control**, allowing users to make the voice higher or lower without changing the speaking speed. I think this could make Desktop Companion more accessible to Russian-speaking users and people with less powerful computers. Thank you again for creating and sharing Desktop Companion with us. I really appreciate your work and would love to see Russian TTS support added in the future!

Sadly it does not work on Linux I tried and it loads up but no model, and the app takes up the full window I had to uninstall =(

ok i am going to dm you i had this working for about 2 weeks left it for a while and now its not working it wants me to buy it all over again.

i paid for 2 versions of your product. i have my license key and it says invalid and it wants me to buy it for a third time. i sent an email to your support with my receipts and have not heard back. so i paid 20 dollars now total for two computers. Your subscription key does not stay valid in the downloaded product. If you have another email loaction other than support please tell me where to email my receipts to. i have lifetime access and no i have no access.

But it would be great if you added more voice services like F5 TTS (English) and GPTSOVITS (Japanese), especially because of the voice cloning ability… Also, more chat LLM providers like OpenAI/DeepSeek/Perplexity, even if they are paid, would still be a good option for anyone who wants them. Also, a feature for the AI to control your desktop and browser like how Neuro-Sama functions?

absolutely brilliant and you done an excellent job I'll give you a bit of background about myself I've 40+ years in the industry gaming and gaming experience sometimes I used to stream on Twitch I can give you a suggestion I wouldn't recommend doing a paid subscription I'd recommend a one-time payment and you would bring in more money you could add pay DLCs to this model you could put up on steam and epic store you found a loophole in the market for twitch streaming excellent job well done

A few thoughts, first if you want the companion to be a companion they have to stop referring to themselves in the 3rd person and reminding the user that they are an AI, it's redundant information and breaks the immersion. Give us a character creator to let us customize our own character. Let us have the ability to communicate with the avatar via text as well. If you want give us the option to buy clothing or even add our own clothing items. Just some thoughts:)
