Origin Story [JDOR]
Taking place twenty years after the Metagen-92 virus – aka the “Superflu” – has swept the world and rendered many of its adult population superpowered or mutated, Origin Story follows MC (name customizable), a seemingly normal nineteen-year-old who in any other universe would be a popular and attractive prospect for most girls. But in this universe, his ability hasn't manifested yet. Shunned by most of his meta-gifted peers, MC finds himself a hapless virgin on the lower rung of his school's social ladder, with only a few misfit friends by his side.
ollowing the death of his parents when he was just a baby, his upbringing in the system was overseen and financially supported by their close friend Parker Samson, the affluent and influential co-owner of the lead organization behind Metagen research and development of the now ineffective Metagen Vaccine. Having recently moved in with the beautiful Parker, and her equally beautiful daughter Riley, MC finds the perpetual state of arousal that comes with the burden of his virginity even more challenging.
When MC is targeted and violently attacked for reasons unknown to him, The Sisterhood – a government-backed team of celebrity superheroines and sex icons - comes to his aid. While under their care, The Sisterhood immediately recognize his worth and hidden charms.
MC soon finds himself juggling his school life, his suddenly blossoming relationships with the women he keeps close, his curious involvement with The Sisterhood and one big secret that could determine whether this is the origin story of a hero, or a villain.

Developer Notes & Frequently Asked Questions
About the Developer
I'm a solo developer and relatively new to game development. Before beginning work on Origin Story, I had only about a year of experience learning both Ren'Py and Daz Studio. While my skills have improved considerably since then, this project is still a learning experience, and I continue to refine my craft with every release.
Rather than focusing on complex gameplay systems or advanced mechanics, my goal is to tell a compelling, character-driven story with meaningful choices, branching paths, and memorable characters.
Story & Player Choices
Although the opening chapters may feel fairly linear, Origin Story is not a kinetic novel.
Early in the game, the protagonist is intentionally guided through key story events that are essential to the overall narrative. As the story progresses, player choices become increasingly important, unlocking alternate scenes, branching routes, and different outcomes.
Many of the most significant decisions occur in later chapters, so your choices will have a greater impact as the story unfolds.
Character Relationships
Most romance options are completely optional.
However, due to the story's central narrative, one or two early relationship events are required for plot progression. After these introductory moments, all future interactions with those characters become entirely optional, allowing players to shape their preferred relationships.
Visual Presentation
At present, the game primarily uses high-quality static renders.
Animation is an area I'm still learning, and rather than include animations that don't meet my standards, I've chosen to focus on polished still images. As my skills improve and development continues, I hope to introduce higher-quality animated scenes in future updates.
Exploration
Origin Story is not a sandbox game.
The game does include occasional free-roaming sections that allow players to explore environments, discover additional dialogue, and uncover background lore. These segments are designed to complement the main story rather than replace it.
Audio
The game features both music and sound effects throughout the experience. Some tracks may be replaced or improved over time as development continues.
Release Schedule
The current goal is to release a new chapter approximately every 2–3 months, though this may vary depending on development progress.
Optional Content & Content Settings
The game includes several optional content paths and accessibility settings, allowing players to customize their experience.
Certain relationship routes and mature themes are entirely optional.
A Safe Mode is available for players who prefer to avoid specific optional scenes. When enabled, those scenes are either replaced with alternative content or omitted if they are not essential to the story.
Additional optional themes can be enabled or disabled based on player preference, providing greater control over the overall experience.
Story Design
Many story events, character behaviors, and seemingly minor details are intentional.
The narrative has been planned well in advance, with extensive foreshadowing and long-term character development. Some questions raised in the early chapters may not be answered until much later in the story.
For that reason, I encourage players to keep an open mind. Characters, motivations, and situations may not always be what they first appear to be, and future chapters often provide new context that changes earlier impressions.
Thank you for your patience, feedback, and support as Origin Story continues to grow.
