Development Update #24 - Chapter 3

So this week I worked every day on the last part of development: SFX/music. It has been pretty difficult, ngl, but it's almost done. I'd say I'm around 70% done at this point. I also replaced one instrumental song from Chapter 2.
Next week, I plan to keep doing pretty much the same thing, finishing what's left of the SFX/music. If everything goes according to plan, I should be done somewhere during the week, probably by Friday.
Then I'll use the weekend to do a check of everything. I think I'll take until the very last day of August to make sure everything is working properly, test everything thoroughly, and then announce the release dates.
If my calculations are correct 🤓, the release should probably start during the first week of September.
So yeah... we're really close now! 😁
I'm honestly really excited to start releasing this chapter, then jump straight into Chapter 4 and start developing Season 2.
As you know (and I know I can be repetitive and annoying about this, sorry 😅) it's important to understand that Season 1 is meant to be a setup/introductory season, especially these first three chapters. Chapter 4 is the one that starts separating itself more from that definition.
This has also been a tactical decision on my part to save as much money as possible so I can hopefully upgrade to a 5090 for Season 2.
That's the goal, and I think I should be able to get it after Season 1 is completed.
And that is where things are going to get very interesting... more zombies, bigger scenes... MUAHAHAHAHA
