Development Update #20 - Chapter 3

👋

This week was a bit of a mix of everything.

On Wednesday, I finished everything related to the optimization and color/gamma correction of every render. It took a little longer than I expected, but at least it's finally done.

On Thursday, I started coding, and while working on a few scenes, I realized they could be improved with some extra renders. So I went back into Blender and made a few more. I don't remember the exact number, but it was around 15 additional renders I think? Around that.

On Friday, I got a bit more coding done, and yesterday I spent literally all day working on the song that plays at the end of the chapter. I think it came out pretty well. If you pay attention to the lyrics, they fit not only the ending of this chapter, but the story as a whole.

Not much coding happened this week, I know😅 Some of you may know that my IRL job literally consists of sitting in front of a computer in an office, coding all day, so when I get home the last thing I feel like doing is... more coding. 🫩😅

But tomorrow I'm going all in. I'm gonna code like an absolute psychopath this week and see how much progress I can make.
