Development Update #14- Chapter 3

So this week I made it to 1510 renders. Really good progress overall. We're at the final stretch of the "rendering side of development".

My goal is to cap the episode at 2000 renders, though I may end up going a bit over that number. There are still 5 scenes left to do. Two of them are quite small and not particularly important, so I think around 50 renders each should be enough. The other three are a bit harder to estimate. My calculations say they should take around 100 renders each, but my calculations are always shit 😂😃There's one scene in particular that I think could easily go beyond that and end up with 200 renders.

Then we have the ending, and hmmm, I'm having a bit of a developer crisis with it right now 😅

I know how I want to end the chapter, but I don't really know how to do it yet. I don't have the full picture in my head. It's one of those things where I know the destination, but not exactly how to get there.

It's also another scene that I don't know how many renders it'll take. My guess is around 100 renders. It shouldn't take much more than that. I'll figure it out.

June marked the start of the fourth month of development, and it's kind of crazy to think that by the end of the month I'll probably be close to the 2000 render mark. Chapter 2 took practically 8 months to get to that number🙃

All in all, we're getting very close to finishing the rendering side of development. I think it should be finished around mid-July. After that, it'll be time to focus on the coding and music side of things.
