Final decision regarding centaurs

Hi everyone,

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about the centaurs, especially after reading all your feedback and suggestions.
First of all, I want to thank you for the respectful and calm way you shared your opinions — it truly means a lot.
I also apologize for insisting on this topic, but it’s an important one.
I want you to stay updated on how things evolve, even when those developments might not go in my favor.

In any case, this message represents my final and non-negotiable position.

How things evolved:

When this project began, the protagonist’s role was entirely submissive.

Over time, my artistic and sexual tastes changed, and to the delight of a part of my supporters, I started exploring ways for the main character to also take on a dominant role.

That led to a new structure for the game, where the protagonist could be both dominant and submissive — and that’s when I realized something wasn’t sitting right with me.

Simply put, I’ve always found it disturbing to create dominant sexual scenes involving horse-like bodies.
And with the new direction of the project, I would have had to make a lot more of them.

Of course, that’s just my personal reaction — something that feels disturbing to one person can be wonderful to another.

Let’s just say centaurs were fine for me as long as they were the dominant ones, and honestly, that kink was already well explored in the first version of the game.

For a long time, I tried to put those feelings aside to avoid disappointing anyone.
I told myself it was just part of the job, something I had to swallow and move on.
But with all the new legal and tax concerns, it became clear that keeping the centaurs wasn’t just complicated — it was a weight I no longer wanted to carry.

The hero:

One of you suggested a functional way to preserve the centaurs, and I appreciated it immensely, because I could tell how much affection there was for that species.
The proposal was professional, thoughtful, and full of useful ideas I’ll probably use in the future.

The truth is, though, that when I read it, I had already felt a huge sense of relief in letting the centaurs go.
So I came to the conclusion that sometimes, the right decision is simply the one that lets you breathe again.

The final decision:

So yes — I confirm that the new version of the centaurs will be more humanoid.
This is no longer about restrictions, even if that’s what pushed me to reconsider in the first place.
It’s about wanting to keep enjoying the process of creating futa content — without compromises.

Because let’s be honest, the beating heart of this project has always been them:
the futanari.
And as long as I keep creating content that entertains and excites, the number of legs my characters have shouldn’t matter at all.

Thank you for reading, and sorry again for the endless rambling.

Time to get back to work.

— Alek

That's disappointing. Centaurs is what set your work apart from others.

Hey I saw the post Im sad to see that youre moving away from centaurs. I get not wanting to or being able to show them in a more submissive state honestly I prefer them dominant. Please I hope this decision doesnt erase all of the centaurs. Please keep a few like the one we help serve food with and the warrior guard ones we train with like the one we spar and the one who teaches us. I think those scenes were fantastic.

Alek, I’ve taken the time to review your posts, messages, and responses regarding the development of Sex & Fantasy, and I feel it’s necessary to speak plainly about what has been happening. This is not out of anger, but out of concern for how your actions have affected supporters who have trusted you for years. There is a clear pattern of manipulation and dishonesty that needs to be addressed: Repeated broken promises: You’ve presented multiple overhauls, updates, and releases as part of the same ongoing project, promising progress that repeatedly never materialized. Each time, you reframed the project or restarted it without clearly closing the previous iteration, which misled supporters into believing their patience and support were being honored. Rewriting history: You’ve characterized the early chapters and original concepts of the game as “empty space” or meaningless. This dismisses the emotional investment of long-time supporters and erases the foundation they helped build. Calling these chapters insignificant after years of support is not creative honesty—it’s revisionism. Using AI-style polished language to deflect accountability: Your messages are consistently structured, calm, and philosophically phrased, which creates the impression of thoughtfulness and empathy. This polished tone functions as a barrier, making it difficult for supporters to challenge you or express frustration without feeling they are overreacting. Whether AI-assisted or manually polished, this rhetorical strategy is being used to avoid taking responsibility for misleading supporters. Framing criticism as misunderstanding: When supporters point out broken promises or shifting goals, you frame it as a misunderstanding of your personal growth or intentions. This tactic positions you as morally or creatively superior, rather than addressing the factual consequences of your repeated changes. Minimizing impact with abstract reasoning: Statements like “It’s about allowing it to become what it can be now” or “I lived it differently” are abstract justifications that avoid addressing the tangible harm caused: confusion, disappointment, and a repeated loss of trust. Avoiding closure or accountability: By claiming “there’s nothing more I can add that hasn’t already been said,” you attempt to shut down discussion while providing no real acknowledgement of how your repeated shifts misled supporters. True accountability would involve clearly admitting that repeated restarts under the same project banner misled supporters, regardless of intent. Disrespecting supporter investment: Your language often prioritizes your own comfort, creative preferences, or personal moral judgments over the promises and expectations set for supporters who financially and emotionally invested in the project. The repeated erasure or reframing of what supporters valued demonstrates a pattern of treating them as secondary to your narrative control. In short, the combination of polished, philosophical messaging and reframing past actions functions to manipulate perception and silence legitimate criticism. This is dishonest and unfair to the people who supported you for years. Supporters deserve honesty, clarity, and accountability—not carefully crafted narratives designed to appear reasonable while avoiding responsibility. I hope this message is taken seriously. Supporters are not asking you to stop growing as a creator; they are asking for transparency, integrity, and acknowledgement of the ways your choices have repeatedly misled them.

Honestly the change whilst maybe not what was expected is something that I feel like will definitely still work within the universe and as long as you keep up the high quality nothing should change like you said the core content has always been the futanari. So as long as we still get high quality creations which I have no doubt about I see no reason to not look at this as a new chapter of the game.

I appreciate that you took the time to explain your thoughts and personal feelings behind this decision — it’s clear you’ve put a lot of reflection into it. That said, I think it’s also fair for long-time supporters to express how disheartening this feels after so many years of following the project. For many of us, the centaurs weren’t just a background detail — they were a major part of what made this project unique and what first inspired people to support you. Over the years, we’ve stood by through major overhauls, reworks, rebranding, and long gaps between updates, trusting that each new direction would eventually bring the promised content to life. But with every change, the core elements that defined the original vision have been pushed further away. It’s not unreasonable for supporters to feel misled when what we initially backed — a centaur-focused visual novel — has turned into something almost unrecognizable. Especially since each shift was framed as necessary for progress, but rarely led to the promised results. I understand that artists evolve and that creative passions can change, but when those changes repeatedly undo years of previous commitments, it’s not just “personal growth” — it’s a breakdown of trust. People invested not only money, but years of faith in a project that kept being rewritten instead of completed. No one wants to take away your creative freedom — but what we’re asking for is honesty, stability, and follow-through. If your artistic direction has truly changed for good, then it would be fair to acknowledge that openly and separate that new direction from the project people originally supported, rather than continuing under the same banner. Respectfully, the frustration many of us feel isn’t about “how many legs the characters have” — it’s about how many times the goalposts have moved.

I’ve been following this project since the early days — back when the centaurs were the heart of it and when the whole idea felt genuinely unique and exciting. So I want to say this as someone who’s been patient for years, not as a troll or a hater, but as someone who really believed in what you were building. Reading this post honestly hurts. Not because you’re changing something small, but because it feels like another moment in a long line of changes where the original vision — the one that drew so many of us in — just keeps being erased. We’ve waited through reworks, delays, promises of updates that never came, and total overhauls that reset everything. Each time, we tried to trust that it was for the good of the project. But after so many years, it’s hard not to feel like we’ve been strung along. You say this is your “final and non-negotiable position,” but the truth is, we’ve heard versions of that before — every time the project shifted direction. And now the centaurs, the thing that defined the game for so many of us, are just… gone. I understand your tastes changed and you need to follow what inspires you, but that doesn’t erase the years of expectations you built and the promises that kept people supporting you financially and emotionally. This isn’t about being angry that characters have fewer legs. It’s about feeling like the trust and loyalty of the people who believed in your work have been quietly traded away every time you’ve decided to “start over.” I still respect the effort you’ve put in, but I can’t pretend this doesn’t feel like a betrayal to those of us who’ve been here since 2019. We’re not being disrespectful by saying this — we’re just tired of watching something we loved slowly disappear under the label of “creative evolution.” I hope someday you can look back and see that this isn’t just frustration — it’s disappointment from people who truly cared.

Hey dude, I’m honestly glad to read this message, because you’ve given a voice to a part of my supporters who feel just as disappointed as you do — the ones who now describe me as Satan in the middle of the internet. I genuinely appreciate the time you took to write it. I suffered through it, but I read every word — partly out of respect for a long-time supporter, and maybe also as a small punishment for myself. That said, I’d like to share some of my own frustrations now, hopefully without creating any more tension. You’re reproaching me because you feel deceived by the changes I made. So, to please you and those who feel the same way, I shouldn’t have added a main story where there wasn’t one. I shouldn’t have introduced the sexual escalation. I shouldn’t have removed the centaurs. I should’ve kept forcing myself to make scenes that made me uncomfortable. And I should’ve just left the visual novel exactly as it was. My friend, what you’ve described is a recipe for stagnation. People change. They figure out what they want and what they don’t. You’re right — the project has changed a lot over the years. Some of those changes were experiments that didn’t work, some were lessons learned, and others were simply the result of my growth as a person and as a creator. I understand that it can be disappointing to see something you cared about evolve into something unfamiliar. But I’ve reached a point where forcing myself to create things that no longer feel right, just to preserve an old version of the project, would be dishonest — both to myself and to you. This isn’t about rejecting what the game once was. It’s about allowing it to become what it can be now, based on who I am today. You’ve been here from 2021, and I deeply respect that. I’m truly sorry that this new direction no longer speaks to you. But I hope you can at least understand that this decision comes from honesty, not negligence. Thank you for supporting this project for so long, and I sincerely wish you all the best for the future.

As long as we still get like monster girls at least, I’m fine with it. But either way, your art and scenarios are what I enjoy about these anyway. Keep up the good work!

But now I have to questions: 1 Do you plan on changing the centaur character into other races (remaking most of the characters and story we know) Or in simply change the centaur characters into Minotaurs? Any is good I am just worried with the time it will take if you restart and worried of characters having to change to much. 2 I don't know the plan for the tribute of the past, but like if the S&F is now in the past can you at least release it's least version without the bugs like the Mino encounter?

E
ErectSociety · October 16, 2025

The characters remain the same, but with 2 legs instead of 4. Unfortunately I can't take back the old S&F; it would be madness to add this to my to-do list as well. D:

Anon Ghost · October 15, 2025

I feel the same as you regarding Protagonist trying to be topping on a centaur (To me it is more like ridiculous or funny), now I am much more interested in seeing the protagonist getting railed weather he is dominant or not, but as a game having more options is a must so Iamf happy with it. Specialy because I feel likey having the characters more humanoid will make your life easier, with the laws and meaby even regarding animation.

You have done so much for us its a bit sad that its no mire centaur but im sure this changes will be an amazing change tho if you think about it there is only so much stuff a half horse being can do with a to leg half horse half human has so much more to bring on the table on thin i wish i could see before this change would be belly riding where the PC would be tied back against the belly if the centaur and her cock deep inside the PC while they are doing other stuff but anyway I just wanna say this is gonna be exciting project here on out can’t wait to see what will come on the next update on this project ❤️ Thank Alek 🥳

Nixcillian · October 15, 2025

I just don't know how to feel about this change. On one hand, I generally agree that the main focus is futa and not the centaurs. But at the same time, the wild swing from "almost everyone is centaurs" to "literally no one, maybe just a little down the line" feels like too drastic of a change. I honestly wasn't a huge fan of the insistence on using AI, (I get that it seems like a helpful tool but the following messages have made it seem more like a time sink than something useful) but I stuck around because I was hopeful for what you've already shown us. But this shift in direction might be enough to make me drop my donation. Ultimately it's your project and you decide the direction, but I can't help feeling it's turning too far from the original vision, at least for me. I wish you the best of luck though and I'll keep an eye out where I can.

I think your games are really great, Alek, and I think your way of thinking is totally fine :). The main thing is that you can control it for yourself ^^.

It is what it is, I mean you sadly had to get rid of the centaurs anyways because of adult material restrictions in your country. Your just trying to keep your work alive somehow. I'm okay with these changes and understand completely.

Hiro · October 15, 2025

Yes, it's true that centaurs bring a different vibe, but the main theme is the futanari theme. Although I'd like to know if you'll keep the horse penises? I think at least something different from the norm would be nice. Thanks for your work, though. Later on, if you can include a centaur, it doesn't necessarily have to be all of them.

E
ErectSociety · October 15, 2025

Regarding the horse penis, absolutely yes. For occasional centaur contents, maybe. At the very least, it would be content that could be deleted at any time.

G
GojiraMachina · October 15, 2025

I'm deeply saddened and very sorry to hear this. I've tried to be open minded and stick around through all the changes, but this no longer feels like the project so many of us fell in love with. take care and goodbye, Alek.

ErectSociety · October 15, 2025

Honestly, I would’ve done the same in your place, so no hard feelings at all. It’s been a real pleasure, and thank you for staying with the project until now.

Welp here is to hopefully seeing some futa centaur belly riding one of these days again. If not, I still have the previous game version still. At least you are happy now and don't have a lot weight to deal with.
