Apologies & Explanations.

Mortals

Extremely quick message.

You have no idea how bad I feel about my absence…

I’ll be brief.

I spent the entire morning at the hospital.

I’ve been dealing with a flu / influenza for a couple of days—whatever name it goes by where you are.

They say a leader should never show weakness…

but I’m even more stubborn than that, and I thought it would pass quickly.

Big mistake.

Don’t worry—I already went to the hospital.

I was treated, medicated, and properly taken care of.

That said…

the medication hit me very hard all morning.

I fell asleep for a few minutes, woke up just long enough to write this, then drifted again…

Because of that, I was making far too many mistakes on today’s set.

I’ll fix everything once I’m back and stable.

Please don’t worry—I’m not disappearing without a word.

On my rest day, I’ll be making up for all this absence.

I’m not asking for free time—

just a bit of organization while I get through this.

I truly mean it when I say the medicine left me in a terrible state…

A thousand apologies once again.

Nyxvet

Hehehe~ Truly, thank you so much for the support, the understanding, and the advice—I genuinely appreciate it. And even if it feels a little embarrassing to admit… it wasn’t overworking myself or neglecting my own care~ It was the climate changes—moving constantly between outdoors and indoors. As I mentioned, I’ve only just returned from my earthly matters, which meant a lot more movement between places than usual. But worse still… what really knocked me out wasn’t the illness itself— it was the medication. It happens to me quite often: whenever I get sick and go to a consultation to ease the pain or symptoms, the pills always leave me drowsy. And that’s exactly what happened yesterday, hehe~ Still… truly, thank you so, so much for all the support and understanding. It helped me feel far more at ease about needing to be absent for a while~

Thank you so, so much—truly. You have no idea how much it helps me to read your replies, especially when they’re so understanding~ My greatest worry will always be diligence or absence… so something as simple as hearing “it’s okay, take it easy” brings me an immense sense of calm~ And don’t worry—I know it might seem like what drained me were my Nyxvet matters… but ironically, it was the complete opposite. It was having to deal with the earthly world—especially during a season so cold outside and so warm indoors. And even worse still… the powerful medicines~ They always leave me drowsy and weak. On the day of my absence, what hurt me the most wasn’t the illness or the effort—it was those dreadful side effects~ Hehehe~ Still… once again, thank you so very much. Having this much support makes my days feel brighter and warmer within my temple~
