Commissions Are Back

Commissions have been closed to new members for the past few months, and during that time I was only taking on a very small number of projects, working with one or two members at a time.

However, I'm now reopening commissions to everyone.

I only take a maximum of 5 active commissions at any given time, and there are currently 3 more slots available. I also have a lot more free time at the moment, which means I'm able to take on additional projects and provide faster, more consistent updates throughout the writing process.

For those who are new here, commission stories are personalized stories written based on your interests. Some of the stories you’ve seen here like The Famous Footballer Off the Pitch (my longest running commission), Heat Between Us, History Between Us (My first published book through Commissions), Bareback Temptation, Alpha’s Dirty Secret, and many more started out this way. There are also quite a few I’ve written privately that haven’t been shared on Patreon yet.

How it works:
You tell me the idea, character, or basic plot you have in mind, and I turn it into a proper story. Whether you’ve got a full storyline or just a rough spark, that’s enough. Names, tone, pacing, dynamics, all of it can be shaped around what you want. Just tell me the direction and I’ll build it out. (Or you can also give me a proper plot, it's totally upto you)

Delivery:
Final story will be delivered in PDF format (sent via email).

Pricing:
$20 per 1,000 words (standard rate from 1st May 2026 onwards)
$18 per 1,000 words for returning commission clients who have commissioned a story before May 2026

Note: Some stories are more complex and plot-driven than others, requiring significant character development, world-building, and detailed planning. Projects like these often involve substantially more work than a standard story and may be priced higher than my regular rates. If I feel your project falls into that category, I’ll let you know and discuss any pricing adjustments with you before we begin.

If you’re interested, keep in mind there are only 3 slots and they usually fill up pretty quickly.

FAQ

These are some of the questions I get asked most often about commissions.

1. I don't have a plot. I just have a basic idea. Is that enough?

Absolutely.
Many commission stories start with nothing more than a character, dynamic, setting, fantasy, or a simple "what if" scenario.

We can chat about your interests, the types of stories you enjoy, and the overall direction you're looking for. You don't need a detailed outline. A rough idea is usually enough for me to build something around.

2. Do you write all kinds of stories?

For the most part, yes.

I'm open to a wide variety of story concepts, genres, characters, and relationship dynamics. However, there may occasionally be ideas that aren't a good fit for me personally or that I don't feel comfortable writing.

If that's the case, I'll let you know upfront rather than taking on a project I don't feel I can do justice.

3. Do you accept every commission request?

Almost always, yes.

I genuinely enjoy seeing the creative ideas members come up with. However, I do need at least a basic understanding of the story before accepting a commission.

In the past, I've occasionally declined projects because the idea was too vague for me to estimate the scope of work or understand what the client was looking for.

Even a short summary is usually enough.

4. How long does a commission take?

  • As a general guideline:

    • 5,000 words: approximately 2 weeks

    • 10,000 words: approximately 1 month

    • Longer projects: timeline discussed individually

These are estimates and can vary depending on workload and project complexity.
I'll always keep you updated on progress throughout the process.

5. I want a long series, but I'm not ready to commit to multiple volumes.

That's completely fine. Many of my longest-running commission stories are commissioned one volume at a time.

You can start with a single volume and decide later whether you'd like to continue.

For example, The Famous Footballer Off the Pitch is currently being planned for Volume 9, but each volume was treated as its own separate commission.

6. Can I request changes or revisions?

Yes. Minor revisions, corrections, and adjustments are generally not a problem.

If major plot changes are requested after a story has already been written, additional charges may apply depending on the amount of rewriting required.

7. Can I commission a sequel or continuation of an existing story?

Yes.

I've worked with several members who have commissioned additional volumes, sequels, alternate scenarios, or spin-offs of previous stories.

If you'd like to continue an existing story, we can absolutely discuss it.

8. What if I'm not sure whether my idea would work as a story?

Feel free to reach out anyway.

I've developed stories from fully detailed outlines as well as ideas that were only a few sentences long.

If the concept has potential, we'll figure out the best way to turn it into a story together.

9. What is your refund policy?

Due to the personalized nature of commission work, all commission payments are non-refundable once a payment has been made.

Before starting, we'll discuss the project to make sure we're both on the same page regarding the concept, scope, and expectations.

If you have any questions or concerns, please raise them before commissioning the project.

I had a blast commissioning a story through Dan, so if you have an idea that you think is worth it I wholeheartedly recommend it 👍🏾
