Hey! TruckSim GPS v1.1.1 is now ready to download on Google Play and Apple App Store.
This is the first compatibility patch after the v1.1.0 major release. We may have one more patch before the next major release (v1.2.0) as more map mods get updated with support for ETS2/ATS v1.59.

⚠️ Known Issues
Routing can send you to the wrong company when two companies share the same name in a city
Occasional incorrect U-turn suggestions on highways
App size keeps increasing as we add more maps, expect a big reduction in the next major update
This time we're keeping support for the last compatible 1.58 versions of each map mod alongside the new 1.59 versions, so you can keep using the app whether you stay on 1.58 a bit longer or update to 1.59. As more map mods get updated for 1.59, we'll keep adding support for them.
As mentioned in the v1.1.0 post, I'm still working on a couple of bigger changes for the next major release (v1.2.0):
Moving all maps server-side so they download on-demand, only the ones you actually use. This will reduce the app size dramatically.
Improvements to navigation accuracy, including turn directions and a smoother routing line. This will work as the foundation to then start working on voice navigation. It's coming along nicely :)

Awesome! I am glad you are working on voice navigation, that will make an essential app even more essential (essentialerer)! I know you mentioned customized icons before, I’d like to request an ability to just change the euro speed limit to a us speed limit sign :)

As a Pro user, I really enjoy using the app, but I have a few suggestions that could make it even better: Additional DLC maps should be available as optional downloads inside the app, so users can save storage space if they don’t need them. It would be great to have synchronization between the game and the app, especially for stop points like rest areas, hitchhiking spots, or custom markers. A more Google Maps–like interface and navigation style would significantly improve usability and overall experience. Thanks for your great work and continuous updates!
Hey, thank you very much for your feedback! We are aware that the app size has increased dramatically in the last few updates as we added more maps. We're working on moving the maps server-side so you only download the maps that you're using, this will come probably for the next major update 1.2.0, and should decrease the app size to about 200mb. The app allows to quick-search for rest areas, service areas, garages and gas stations. We have an advanced search feature that will also allow you to search by name in the roadmap. Same for customizing the UI, with colors and custom icons, all of this will come later this year. Thanks again :)
Hi, I’m trying your app on my IPhone but whenever I open up ETS it crashes saying that map data was incompatible, I’ve just updated it though.
Hey, is the app or the game crashing? That error usually happens because you're using incompatible mods in the game, the app does not interfere with the game's data, only reads it
iOS won’t show that it needs to update went on the App Store it says open then it says update on the app so I go back to the App Store not there
Hey! Try to check again, or try to kill the app and open it back up. Worst case, try restarting your phone and it should show up, let me know otherwise
