Version alpha-3 is ready to download for Early Tester backers!
Android & Apple users have already received the update.
A big shout-out to DaSimSimma, who put together a great review video of alpha-3 (attached to this post), and an huge THANK YOU to all Early Tester and VIP supporters that are joining to support this project, this wouldn't be possible without you! :)
What's new
Support for American Truck Simulator (all DLCs)
Game auto-detection & map auto-load on startup
Job-info top panel showing job reward, remaining time, current cargo and time until fatigue
Better quality icons and fixes for z-fighting issues
Higher FPS while dragging the map around on slower phones
Known issues
Navigation may suggest U-turns or roads that go on the wrong direction
Suggested path can look wonky at some complex intersections
Detaching and reattaching cargo can sometimes cause the suggested route to disappear
Mods that change city or company names break the suggested-route feature, those should stay disabled for now
What's next?
Map-mod support: ATS Expansion and ProMods are top priorities
Toggle for metric/imperial units (kmh/mph, km/mi, etc)
Try to get the app to differentiate road directions, so opposite-direction roads are not suggested anymore (I'm afraid this may be a tough one, but it's important)
Custom waypoints: Pick any spot on the map (foundation for gas-station routing, etc)
Adjustable zoom level while navigating
Landscape orientation support

I'm also thinking of opening a Discord server for better communication and bug reporting, what do you think?

Yes! Works on android and apple, phones and tablets. If it's an android tablet, make sure it counts with 4GB of RAM at least.

Is the GPS able to be rotated Horizontal and vertical position on the phone ? I dont have a phone stand so i use my phone's case
Hello, not at the moment. The current version only works in vertical. I'm planning to add support for horizontal orientation in the next alpha-4 build.

Hello I know you probably have heard this so many times but this is absolutely awesome been waiting for something like this for years just got a rig build and this will make the game more like in the seat of a truck, be awesome if you can put like real ETA in and how long you have left to drive

Just curious, will this work as well on android tablets as it will on android phones? I currently use sim dashboard on two 10" tablets in landscape mode, with one being a button box, and the other as a gps, without way lines, or telemetry.
Yes! This is already working well on android tablets and iPads too. Right now it only works in portrait mode. I'll be adding landscape support for alpha-4.

oooo this looks real nice. I may actually use this, especially if the foldable/tablet support is great! As for the discord as a communication platform thing some commenters suggested: god no. Please no. We don't need to lock updates off into yet another app, or make it more annoying for the creator to crosspost.
Hey! Landscape mode will be supported soon, and it's already working on tablets, so I expect the experience there to be good :) Don't worry, the main source of communication and updates will remain on Patreon. However discord may be useful to keep an organized changelog and do bug tracking, it's getting a bit messy to handle everything over DM 😅

Would certainly recommend discord as a communication platform. Far easier to post updates and have bug and feedback reports collated that way you aren’t having duplicate messages reporting the same thing. Instead you can just have a vote system for those it’s impacting
