I really wann start learning how to make my own CC for fun how did u learn all the videos ive found are useless :(
In China, many creators have shared tutorials on how to make mods, and I'm truly grateful for their videos. Internationally, I believe sites like Sims4Studio and YouTube also have creators posting tutorial videos (for example, I learned how to add slots to objects and how to make override mods from YouTube). Honestly, creating decorative cc isn't actually that difficult the real challenge lies in creating the 3D model itself. But it's all a step by step learning process. You start by learning how to recolor furniture, then later learn to use Blender (I originally picked up Blender just to render pictures of my Sims), and eventually progress to making functional furniture objects and doing weight painting. Gaining this knowledge happens gradually there's no need to rush or expect perfection from the very beginning. When you finally see your own creations in the game, it brings a genuine sense of joy
Honestly Every dang time I plan new cc I get stuck staring at Blender like zero ideas I end up scouring the web for references just to kickstart my brain When people flood my posts with praise? Heck yes it feels amazing 🥹... but part of me whispers "Do I even deserve this?" My Rilakkuma Collection set on Xiaohongshu blew up to 16k+ likes wildest dream stuff Yet behind those numbers? Total panic: "Will my next CC flop?", "Will people still care?"... Then I remember I started this to learn Blender and fill my game with furniture I adored So after all that overthinking? screw it I’ll create what sparks joy for ME Whether the world needs these mods? Pfft irrelevant
