TLDR if I were to open a paid tier with membership perks would you hate it & if no then what would you like to receive for your money>_<
I quit my minimum wage retail job last month since I’m starting uni (for the second time) in september and in the last 2.5 years I have realised that I cannot sustain a full-time job no matter how hard I try. part-time alongside uni would also kill me lol. I get monthly disability checks but those are gonna dry up next year as well (to a degree). have thought long and hard about whether I wanna start taking this patreon thing more seriously and maybe open up another donation tier with membership perks.
I don’t think I’d feel comfortable doing early access, I don’t judge any creators who do, honestly I’ve stopped caring about the whole paywalling cc thing entirely but I also understand why a lot of people do. I’d never ever permapaywall anything but early access just feels… wrong to me personally.
but then I start to wonder like… what would I even offer that’d be worth real actual money?D: polls for next cc? suggestions / requests? WIPs? “do x thing with me” videos? tutorials (am not qualified lol)?

im a little late to this, but doing EA is not a big deal at all! perma-paywall is where it gets upsetting, but people can wait a week or two for cc, and if they wanted to they will sign up! you aren't doing anything wrong if you start doing early access! you're basically just getting a commission for what you work hard on, and then you'll have it accessible to everyone! :))

I don't see a problem with it; you clearly work hard on your items so early access is not the end of the world it's on the individual person if they want to pay for it. Tutorials would be cool. How about commissions?

i just got here lol but maybe every month let tier members send/vote on inspo for future drops? or tutorials like you said, because your work is really unique as is. you could also do exclusive sim drops? I personally wouldn't even be mad over early access either, especially because you already have a lot of good cc immediately available. I think you should do it!
