News About the 0.5 Update / Newsletter
Hey everyone!
Alright, no point beating around the bush: even after several really intense weeks of work, I didn’t manage to hit the end-of-the-month deadline for the next update
The thing is, about 90% of it is basically done. All the assets are there, the animations are ready, etc. But I can feel that quite a few dialogues still need more work, and I really want to give myself enough time to properly reread, rewrite, and polish everything and maybe add a bit more things.
And honestly, that’s what I’d rather do than rush it.
This update is kind of a turning point between the beginning of the game and the much bigger 0.6 update, so I really don’t want to mess it up.
I've been planning the events of this 0.6 update since 2019, so yeah, I REALLY don't want to screw this up. SO ANYWAY, I need a bit more time to write.
I’m genuinely sorry about the delay. I really did everything I could to get it done in time.
I think I finally need to admit that making an update just takes me a lot of time, and stop giving myself deadlines that are way too short ^^"
So, we’re pushing the release back to around: the middle of next month.
And here’s a little teaser for the update:
On the other side, the rest of the team has already been working on the next update for about a month now: the famous 0.6, “The Apocalypse”.
So at least we’re already getting a bit of a head start on that one!
As for other news, the next Behind the Scenes post will be about Amandine!
There’s actually quite a lot to show with her. She’s a character I absolutely LOVED writing, and she was already being prepared all the way back around the middle of OPT1.
So yeah... there’s definitely some stuff to talk about eheh.
I think everyone will agree that I should focus on the update first, and we can do the Behind the Scenes once the update is finished, okay? ^^

This little series I started with, like $4 per game on Steam, has brought me a lot of laughs. Like, it ain't even about the porn at this point; I just want to see more of the girls and my grouchy-ass character interact with them lol. Fr, I was in a pretty low place when I finally decided to play the first game. I laughed a lot during that playthrough, and even more in the second game. Still working on the card game, and so far it's been fun too. So please take your time! I still need to replay the first and second games, since I missed some quests. So definitely got plenty to do before you finish this one!
Take the time you need, the game is incredible. When you say next month do you mean October or November? Cause the post is from October 1st but I'm in a time zone that's further ahead
Take all the time you need for the update; it will be very well received. As for the behind-the-scenes content, I love Amandine's character—I think she's in love with the MC.
can we get a new download for PnC? since the old megalink went kaput and i havent played it yet... also, will there be a 2.0 patch? since theres been changes and probably will be changes to the card game function during opt3.

I know you were saying this was going to be the last game but in reality how long do you plan to keep OPT3 going for?
Years. I don't have anything more specific than that ^^ But I think you will understand a little better what I'm trying to do with the 0.6 update.
Always take all the time you need, it's such a joy everytime I get to play an update!
This is hands down my favorite series in the genre, been playing since mid development during OPT1. A big part of that is the fun lighthearted writing. So please, take your time. The update happens once, but the final product is there forever
