We Went to Bangkok to Try Longevity Treatments! (Exclusive Content)

As sailors, we’re usually pretty focused on the simple stuff... fresh air, good food, time in the ocean. But after hearing so much about Bangkok becoming a global hub for wellness and longevity treatments during our recent passages, we started thinking… why not lean in and experience it for ourselves?

As you guys know, Riles and I are pretty health-focused these days, and this week turned into a full-on deep dive into the world of wellness. From NAD+ drips to some pretty futuristic therapies we’d never even heard of before, come along as we take you behind the scenes of our health checks, treatments, and whether we think any of it is actually worth it.

Are these treatments the future of health… or just a very fancy trend? We’ll let you be the judge - drop Riles and me a comment below!

As always, thank you for making these extra little adventures possible. Your support here means the world as we dive into this next La Vagabonde chapter... 🐎🌱🐔

Keen to hear what you think on this one!

Love,
Elay, Riles, Lenny & Darwin
xx

Cape Town is such a cool spot. Spend a lot of time there myself through out the year but totally get why you wouldn't want to settle there.

I was hoping Cape Town wasn't going to be your choice. For all the reasons you mentioned at the end of the video.

Self-human experiments - very stupid! You should consider the worst-case scenarios of these self-experiments before you make such decisions. And then you will exclude it. What is it you are trying to achieve, internal life? Avoid sickness? That will fail for sure. Stay together, family and friends, eat well, be active, give love, and be generous; that's more than enough.

Your young. I have followed you for quite a while now and the thing I have noticed is that since you have been using A1G and doing your exercise program your have become very healthy, strong, and physically lovely. Enjoy your time in Bangkok but but stick with what has been working for you while you have been cruising. Enough said.

Yes very fun episode. You’re right. Hugely risky. Similar benefits can be achieved by sleep and lo dose multi vitamin. Also mostly gets pissed out like all excess material. And can even result in your body increasing enzyme CD37 And 38 which has other effects that we don’t really understand. Look at it this way. Your descended from a long line of lucky and sturdy ancestors. Why risk fucking that up? What is not established • That IV NAD gets efficiently to the exact intracellular compartments you care about. • That IV NAD meaningfully reverses aging. • That it reliably improves energy, cognition, metabolic health, or addiction outcomes in high-quality trials. • That “higher NAD in blood” equals better mitochondrial function or better health. Super-critical take NAD infusion is best understood today as a biologically plausible but clinically un proven intervention, sold with a level of certainty that the evidence does not justify.

Loved this video, you do such a good job! Riley should watch the latest video on Sailing Zingaro channel. I believe your first boat was a Beneteau and this story is about a delivery trip James did on a Beneteau First 47.7 . Very interesting stuff about crossing oceans on this type of boat.

What a fun episode! As someone who’s also trying to decide which continent to live on and where to settle (although just between the US and Europe) it’s interesting to see your progress of it all. And your parameters for deciding where to settle. Looking forward to the next chapter and can’t wait to see where you guys end up

I can’t believe you’re older than you’ve ever been Riley 😂

Love your adventures - whether it’s sailing, or focusing on health or now finding land, I’m here all the way! Thanks for sharing your beautiful lives ❤️ When you are finding your dream farmstead, and you have the opportunity to choose where that is, I think feeling free is important. Culture, politics, consciousness, local dynamics are not always considered and often regretted if you get it wrong. So you are truly thinking about everything to find that place you call home 🏡

Love watching all of your adventures and am excited to see all the fun treatments! One caveat- Maybe in the future, reconsider getting voluntary CT scans. The amount of radiation is up to 400x that of an xray.
