Our Most Terrifying Sail Yet...

*Filmed one week before our accident*

Ready to take on the Naruto Pass? Join our crew as we take on one of the most ferocious currents in the world, home to 20-meter-wide whirlpools spinning with unrelenting power. This isn’t just any sail... this is Mother Nature unleashed lol.

This week, you're all in for a fast and furious sail toward Osaka. It's fair to say our crew was in awe as La Vagabonde III battled these wild waters, showing us all what she’s made of.

We hope you enjoy this raw, real & early preview of today's episode. As always, a massive thank you for your support from our little family, at times like these it means even more to us.

Let us know in the comments how you think La Vagabonde III handled this insane patch of water... or feel free to drop some whirlpool tales of your own! 🤙

Lots of love,

Elayna, Riley, Lenny & Darwin

xx

Whoa! What a wicked current. What would happen if SOG was greater than wind speed? Or did you motor through?

Beautiful Everything great movie.. Kind of strange watching, knowing the future, now past accident. Hopefully in real time you're more back to normal. 😊⛵️ P.S. the boys are getting big.

Great episode. Looks like La Vega handled the volcanic upwellings just fine. Water's like that remind me of sailing on the East coast of Vancouver Island. Fun times, great oldies.

I am so happy we get to see everything b.c (before crash) because the crash truly upset me. 😳 I have followed you for soooo many years. I am sure many of us would follow you forever no matter what you would choose to do. 🙂❤️

I'm confused - the location given for the crash (and the AIS plots) shows you back where you just came from - the other side of the Naruto passage. Specifically anchored off Oki Island (NW Tonosho, Shodo Island, Kagawa) just west of the Shikai fishing port.

I sailed my 15m monohull through a whirlpool on the south side of the Isle of Wight in the UK and we got spun around 360°

OMG the full send scene It extremely rare to see Reily lost for words. The after bridge scene he was lost for words. Elayna, you are infinitely precious. it's the small things you do that are the most important. God I personally miss seeing you guys. Still sending love and good energy
